05 Mustang 4.0 V6 duals with Magnaflow glasspacks

@xsls24sx do you know what glasspacks are? theyre mufflers filled with fiberGLASS. hence the name glass packs. fiberglass is a material used in mufflers as one of the methods to deaden the sound. go check out what a Helmholtz resonator is. fiberglass isnt even mentioned. go cut a resonator in half and you'll see no fiberglass.

@topnosxrs Ive worked in muffler shops for years and many of the factory resonators that we have taken off have had fiberglass or other materials with a straight through design most stock mufflers use chambers to cancel out sound by using the engines exhaust note to cancel out sound. Glasspacks are the same thing and no it does not deaden the sound at all it is a straight through barely street legal design. Often hearing no difference from straight pipe other than the note of the exhaust.

@xsls24sx there are three ways to muffle sound, noise cancellation, restriction, and absorption. absorption uses stainless steel mesh, ceramic rock, or fiberglass. another word for those mufflers are glass packs. ask anyone. a helmholtz resonator is a chamber with a tube leading to the outside environment. depending how big the chamber is changes the frequency. a resonator cancels out the nasty frequencies. the guys that did my exhaust system know the difference. id assume everyone else does too

im comparing a v6 mustang to a straight six sc300..yeah a procharged mustang would win dumb shit...and yes i actually have turned a wrench, im not an overweight piece of shit stangart...my first car was a 1982 Chevy S10 with a swapped 350, turbo 350 trans and a posi rear end with 3.73 gears..it made about 350 rwhp but i sold it cuz it was so bad on gas fucktard

I think it sounded good and jcr823 should not even be in this post because he's d-bag who's probably overweight and never turned a wrench in his LIFE. These videos are made so that people looking at getting an exhaust can decide what sounds good...not for destructive criticism. Bottom line, if you own a GT you shouldn't be looking at exhausts that won't fit you car.

you can't even call a v6 mustang a muscle car...its a girl car. the v6 mustangs were made for the women..the v8 for the men. shit my SC on BFG Drag Radials with a little weight reduction, intake, and my new 2.5 inch exhaust straight up owns 1998-2004 GT's without any hitch. Besides..the SC is just straight up sexy..i can't think of a better looking coupe from 1992-2000

btw nice sounding 6. and to jcr823- you're not very smart lol. if you havent noticed the S197 C6 has 210hp/240tq stock and is the best selling muscle car. the v6 is also what made mustangs famous not the v8 so dont say its not a mustang because its a 6 or any less of a mustang. besides at the end of the day even if you are faster than his 6... he looks damn good in it compared to you ;)

yes an SC3 that runs 13's..have you heard of weight reduction? my 13 second pass i had just my drivers seat, no subwoofer, door panels, 1/4 tank of gas, i was running on street radials, lighter weight wheels, basically the bare minimum..but yes i am a car guy, but i think that a v6 mustang is a worthless platform..and lets try to be tough on the internet right?
