@RutBoyNiles-if you listen to pretty much all of spankys tracks with Tye Tribbet, or other music groups, he always stays 'in the pocket' and knows exactly what to play, and when to play it.....But this is Musikmesse, Spankys time to 'show off'....if you look Nathaniel Townsley, or John Blackwell, they wouldnt be NEAR as good at playin this ridiculously amazin music like Spanky Is.....

I watched 4 parts of this musikmesse appearance and I'm really missing grooves and dynamics.

How about playing a break and start with a nice silent rimclick groove, that can expand and develop? There are so many Chop-Drummers out there today, who take it way too far.

Happily there are still drummers who know how to play musically and dynamically like Nathaniel Townsley or John Blackwell.

Spanky is my Fav drummer. Tye is an amazing musician and artist. He and GA are the most pure group out there. Spanky is so unique and his fills and licks are ridiculous. My inspiration

Everyone could see from his performance with Tye that spank is unique in every way. U can know his playing just by hearing even 5 seconds of it. Not to cause trouble..But all of you act like they just came on, or like they are just some new force to be recond with. In Houston Chris Dave honestly sounds like everyone else. Spanky is fresh on the East Coast because they don't play like that often. There drumming has been hot. When spanky was playing with the Backstreet Boy's he was fire, and when Chris was 15 hitting with Mint Condition he was doing the same licks. AGAIN NOT HATING JUST CONFUSED.
