I never covered my head until recently because only recently I begin to believe the Creator's words as if blinders have been removed from my eyes. And now I happily and joyfully cover my head to honor my Elohim. I don't know the reason and maybe someday I will know, but reasons aren't important to me anymore, what's become important is doing what my Creator asks of me.
I dont see any reason why a woman should have to wear a head scarf but a man shouldnt. Im all for modest clothing for women & men, but the headscarves go over the line.

@sixthheretic I'm just finding it hard to understand the reasoning for it. I am unable to find any logic behind it. Most of the commands in the bible are seemingly based on logic & reason but in this instance I'm finding such a command void of both.
We are supposed to separate ourselves from the worldly culture. Women of this culture know that a headscarf represents women in subbmission to men. Women are to take pride in the fact that they submit themselves to their husbands. It is the best way for a woman to place her light on a stick so that all the land can see. God covers us with our hair and jesus covered us with the spirit and women are to be covered by a cloth. So a wife is covered by all those in authority over her.

Ok ... I will say this one more Time. Hair Covering is a sign of submission not of modesty. Women are to submit to men not the other way around that is why only women cover their hair. Hair covering is not about modesty. I just put them together because they both deal with how a woman dresses.
@sixthheretic I just realised that you will probably misinterpret my penultimate sentence. When I say 'people' I mean both men and women, in a platonic way. I don't assume that all men who look at me are thinking about sex. I believe I am respected by my male friends and colleagues. Certainly they all manage to keep their hands off me.... they are in control of their actions, believe it or not.
It is not about men controling their actions. If you have your breasts hanging out men have to fight the urge to stare at them. As a christian you are not supposed to cause your brethern to stumbble. What does it mean to be one with Christ? Does that mean you are equal in authority to jesus? If so you are a blasphemer for it says there is no way to the father but through me. Her hair which was supposed to be covered which was why it was the ultimate show of submission that she put her glory which is her hair and it was suposed to be covered and used it to wash the dirtyest part of Jesus. I have people try to figure out if I am chemo pt. The View on head covers are changed. Paul also didn't specify in relation to what type - hat, scarf, veil or other. And do you wear it to bed too. Therefore, this is not a tradition. ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, including where Paul said the women's headcovering was based on creation principles, and also had to do with the supernatural realm. It is ok for non married women to wear headcoverings and in fact I personally encourage it. It is great practice for when a woman is married but the bible is very specific. It only refrences wives.

Well the scripture use specifically the word gyne for woman which means only married women or women. I did a video on this called virgins need not cover. The summery is if a woman has had sex then from that moment onward she should cover for the rest of her life.. But if she has never had sex she doesnt need to cover. In the greek all encompasing female was thelis other wise it was divided between parthenos "virgin" or Gyne "Adult woman" or "married woman."

I admit that have not been covering my hair lately because I went thru a spiritual crisis of sorts.I am over that now but I feel like the headcovering is a commitment and I want to make sure the time is right, I'm sure it will be soon. BUT I have told women the same exact thing you said in this video and they refuse to listen.My Pastor from my old church told me that it does not apply to us "today" (he also had his wife as a co-Pastor).The Bible tells women to cover their hair, plain and simple.
And this is the difference between you and them. You say the bible is right and that you are wrong and they say that the bile is wrong and they are right. If jesus were to judge you and them you admited your sin and jesus forgave it. they Would not admit their sin so they are still in their sin. They said that the bible was wrong. So If they take away from the bible then their name is taken out of the book of life and then they will be thrown into a lake of fire.

I am saying just because a woman wears a headcovering does not make her righteous. it just shows that she is able to do that one scripture. Belief in all of the bible with out adding to it or subtracting from it is how you discern who is righteous.

Even Qur'an says that if someone doesn't accept my religion then I can say "your religion is to you, mine is to me." If you are bound to the Bible only due to your culture then I have nothing to say. I don't assume that all men who look at me are thinking about sex. I believe I am respected by my male friends and colleagues. Certainly they all manage to keep their hands off me.... they are in control of their actions, believe it or not.

Her hair which was supposed to be covered which was why it was the ultimate show of submission that she put her glory which is her hair and it was suposed to be covered and used it to wash the dirtyest part of Jesus. It was an act of submission. and since it is in the bible I have no problems with you uncovering your hair if you are going to wash someone feet with it.

I do it, but I am not expecting a reward, brother. It's a tradition and not law. 1 Cor.11: 2 "And I praise you, brothers, that you remember me in every way & keep the TRADITIONS as I delivered them to you." This is an example of LAW in NT "Again I write you a fresh command (LAW) which is true in Him & in you, because the darkness is passing away, & the true light now shines. :1 John 2:8. As with Paul can suggested the tradition, but it's not LAW.

I have people try to figure out if I am chemo pt. The View on head covers are changed. Paul also didn't specify in relation to what type - hat, scarf, veil or other. And do you wear it to bed too. It's vague & left up to the woman.

@sixthheretic Paul said the Corinthian church was ALREADY keeping the traditions. But then he says he wants to tell them about something else they should also observe. Therefore, this is not a tradition. ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, including where Paul said the women's headcovering was based on creation principles, and also had to do with the supernatural realm. Do you interpret the last half of 1 Cor 11 literally? Then why not the first half?

There is no scripture that is written saying the more you cover the more reward. That's adding to scripture & forbidden. That's the thing here. It's not so cut & dry for women has to Masters & you have to meet both. Sometimes a women can't. Some Muslim women are going in the military (male roles) & it would be a hazard to tell them cover & wear a helmet. I do the tradition, but don't make it law on a woman in males positions not thought about in the day of Paul. Also, it should be done with from the heart. Otherwise, the meaning is lost - love & honor to the FATHER. I have a lot to say on this. ;-)

What a woman has is a chain of command. and a chain of comand is somthing that most women do not understand. If a captain tells me to charge a bunker but my sargent told me to retreat. It's not LAW. It's tradition & culture. That's why he said the issue of culture. I did this scripture in a way that scared my family. They hated it - seeing me shaved and covered. Jesus proved no man can fulfill all laws & works focus is dead teachings - no spirit of love in it. Well the scripture use specifically the word gyne for woman which means only married women or women. I did a video on this called virgins need not cover. The summery is if a woman has had sex then from that moment onward she should cover for the rest of her life.. But if she has never had sex she doesnt need to cover. In the greek all encompasing female was thelis other wise it was divided between parthenos "virgin" or Gyne "Adult woman" or "married woman."

I admit that have not been covering my hair lately because I went thru a spiritual crisis of sorts.I am over that now but I feel like the headcovering is a commitment and I want to make sure the time is right, I'm sure it will be soon. BUT I have told women the same exact thing you said in this video and they refuse to listen.My Pastor from my old church told me that it does not apply to us "today" (he also had his wife as a co-Pastor).The Bible tells women to cover their hair, plain and simple.

I am saying just because a woman wears a headcovering does not make her righteous. it just shows that she is able to do that one scripture. Belief in all of the bible with out adding to it or subtracting from it is how you discern who is righteous.

@sixthheretic Yes, I totally agree with you that only covering your head doesn't make you righteous. Even among muslim women there are who cover their heads bit don't follow Islam.

As I wrote on your channel I am interested what you think of Islam. The reason is I am a muslim and from your two videos I realized that your belief and way of thinking is very close to Islam though you are not a muslim. It was surprising for me.

I think that the Quran is not biblical. WE are not to add to or take away from scripture and to do so is to take away your name from the book of life.

Lets us get to the heart of the matter before this goes to far. You dont believe in my book and I dont believe in your book. I wont try to convert you if you dont try to convert me. If you say things that fit with the bible I will agree if you say things that disagree with the bible I will disagree.

@sixthheretic LOL I have never tried to convert anyone, I am just curious and I like to debate. Even Qur'an says that if someone doesn't accept my religion then I can say "your religion is to you, mine is to me." If you are bound to the Bible only due to your culture then I have nothing to say. But you cannot say that you know original Bible. You yourself accepted that there are additions and subtractions. The original Bible is just lost. So Qur'an for us the original Bible. Simple.

Let's compare what is in your Bible and my Quran. I just don't know what you have, that's why I am curious. Was Jesus crucified? Did he die for the sins of humanity?

I know I called you brother first. My issue was when you wanted to compare the bible to the quran. To do so in my oppinion is to try to invalidate the bible in an atempt to sway my beliefs towards islam.

@sixthheretic Brother, the things is if the original word of God is corrupted then God will send his word again. Doesn't that make sense? After all Muhammed (sav) was an illiterate arab among idol-worshippers who tried to assasinate him for leaving their religion, which makes it almost impossible for him to write a book like Qur'an.

@sixthheretic Okay this is better. First of all, being "corrupted" doesn't mean being "totally substituted". Agree? Secondly, why your Bible is the 3-rd party work written by different people in different times? How do you know that you have everything at your hands? Cannot it be that something is missing? And based on what you decide what is original and what is corruption?

@sixthheretic So God sends so many prophets one after another giving us certain commandments and then suddenly He decides to send his last prophet who dies for our sins, and if we believe to that we have our salvation? What about people who lived before Jesus? They had to belliev in something and we had to believ in something in something totally differen to get salvation. How come? Also, who Jesus prophecised to come after him?
