@MilSimGear i am no where near a airsoft fan boy or paintball fan boy but i will say that airsoft is to me a little more fun for woodsball and tons cheaper, (why spend tons of money when you dont have to) paintball is a lot more fun when playing speedball, ( even if airsoft had speedball, i think i would like paintball more for speed ball) and getting hit by a paintball and getting hit by an airsoft bb is a little too different to compare and it all depends on the circumstances.

Snipers are not very common in woods or milsim paintballing, but ppl who do sniper are the bad ass people. Secondly the accuracy of the projectile in proportion to the velocity is heavily influenced by the weight of the projectile. A bb weights .2 or .12 or so where as a paintball is like 1.0-1.5 so at 280-300 fps it will go FARTHER because it weighs more and holds at line rather a weightless bb.

i like to airsoft and paintball... but with airsoft u can just brush the BBs off and say u ddint get hit... with paintballs ull have a huge spot on you.

this may be a dumb question but how accurate r paintball snipers bc they have lower fps then airsoft guns so i was wondering if that affected the accuracy at long ranges and also r snipers very common in paintballing

@AIRdaSHOT  it is not a dumb question. you are right that the fps setting will affect range/accuracy. don't expect a paintball sniper gun to be any more accurate than a similar marker with the same barrel/paint/nitro, etc. the tripod and the scope do help but, in my opinion, a sniper gun looks more menacing, intimidating, cool, (add your adjective here).

@MilSimGear , paintball snipers are pointless because when you put a mask on you cant even look down the sights, pluse it is like looking through a straw because your mask keeps your eye farther away from the scope than normal

@Legitonion Since when don't you keep your eye away from a scope? You never rest your eye on a scope anyways. You can find many masks that don't get in your way when moving a scope. If you were to rest your eye on a scope when using a hunting rifle you'd break your eye socket. I think you were using a shitty scope

i have 3 rap 4's 2 t 68, 3 x-powers (2010 series) i love them i customed out my t 68s 1 with a side winding telescopic scops, and a blade holographic in the main sight mount with a q loader never failed me once the other im still working on but currently have q loader with swivel bi pod 1 grenade launcher holographic scope and am adding a special custom barrel so i can flip from butstock air to remote line with a switch its coming along gr8 havnt touched my xpower because im still busy w/ t68s

Any little wind and those plastic bb's go everywhere BUT where you are trying to shoot, unless you are using one of OUR markers converted to airsoft. most airsoft players i know have little or no money to play real paintball and/or don't like to be hurt. who is sucking now airsoftmeister94?

@MilSimGear you'll actually be surprised, a lot of people judge airsoft on those shitty walmart springers (is what we call em) but 90% of people have nice guns that are metal, high powered/speed full size rifles, that can accurately hit a man sized target from 150-200 feet, and wind seldom affects the bbs really badly but occasionally there are those gusts that do it

There isnt much interest in my locale for airsoft so I have only seen games with the cheap wallymart springers. what brand/model do you have?

@MilSimGear my primary is a full metal VFC M16A2A3 with an EOtech red dot, my secondary is a select fire gas blowback G-18, which is a compiled of misc brands so its my mutt, a lot of area dont get into airsoft because its not really mainstream like paintball is, if you look up airosft it should take you to airsoft scotland which is a MOJOR airsoft field, but like i said many people dont like airsoft because it gets a bad rep from those walmart rifles, i also have an M249 S.A.W.

Overpriced as compared to which guns? @Riley9308 You're entitled to your opinion but there is a difference between overpriced, which is the term you used, and pricey which i think is the word you were looking for. I agree some markers are expensive. I only own 3 of the lower priced ones and do wish i could afford some of the more expensive ones.

my advice to you is to get the best marker you can afford and enjoy it. a cheap marker is no fun and you will soon lose interest. remember that there is no such thing as sniper paintball gun

110 feet away not so good for a sniper marker considering most to all markers will shot that distance accurately. like you said it depends on air used and barrel to paint match. now if you were to tell me 300 feet away i would have been impressed. Yes i modded a TPN tango one marker to accept first strike rounds. Now that's a true paintball sniper that can hit an old dart board @ 100 yards away. if your not shooting first strike rounds, your not sniping. they have over twice the effective range.

Accuracy is great out of the box which cannot be said about every marker even the super accurate Autococker.

There are more upgrades to the RAP4 than most markers out there. You can convert these puppies to airsoft, dual feed, full automatic , etc.

This is a toy for the person who wants to look good on the field. A good player with a cheap gun can take out a mediocre player with a top of the line marker.

We offer several choices in that price range. All things being the same (nitro, psi, paint) Power is the same for all as they are all regulated except the military/police versions.

Now as far as accuracy, everyone has their own opinion and I will offer mine. Many factors are involved in this. length of barrel is not a big factor. Nitro is better than co2. Good paint and the speed setting contribute greatly.

My favorite for accuracy is the autococker with low pressure valve. extremely accurate.

Same with these markers. The RAP4s are fabricated by the same process as the real guns (in China) so feel and looks are very realistic.
