The only thing that could have affected him would have been the wing tip vortices, which move downward and away from the plane, rotating clockwise from the left wing and counter-clockwise from the right wing. I think the plane was lined up perfectly enough that this would not affected him. This video is awesome and I believe it to be completely accurate and truthful.........
