I've been studying the topic of weight loss for about 10 years now (I'm a personal trainer for a living) so I think I can shed some light on the topic.
HOW TO LOSE FAT
1) Cut out carbs in the evenings (eat "low glycemic" carb sources in the day).
2) Choose the exercises that burn the most calories (NOT sit ups and curls). Squats, Lunges, Pull Ups etc. are great examples.
3) Use the software and meal plans from FatLossCustomized. com
I don't know why anyone would follow a nutrition program that isn't customized to their body type. Anyone who wants to lose weight should be following the "Fat Loss Customized" program..

@bookwurmgurl7 Here is a good way to loose weight if you want one :) Remove most if not all refined carbs from your diet, remove most if not all free fats from your diet, includes olive oil, butters, palm oil etc. Increase your intake of starches, such as potates, sweet potatoes, oats, rye, barley etc to about 90+% of calories, eat about 10% calories from fat (happens naturally) and 10% protein (happens naturally), eat as much as you want and you get the best result when not eating animals. =)

Don't people understand that losing 10 lbs won't make any difference in your looks if you are overweight? You would need to lose like 20-30 lbs to see any major difference. What good is losing a bunch of water weight?
i have a way to lose weight. im testing out my formula soon at my home in fredericksburg, texas. we're working on getting a treadmill right now. 1. get a treadmill. it doesnt have to be expensive or anything. 2. walk everyday for acouple months. 3. dont eat as much. cut down on serving size. with these 3 steps you an lose weight. i wuz skinny for years using my aunts treadmill! trust me it works.

To lose weight you do not starve yourself, you will lose weight in the begining but you will gain it back quickly do to the fact your body will be grabbing everything it can from the food that you eat and store it. You eat more each day small snacks, healthy snacks. With a little exercise you will be good.

@Musicposter4you Exactly! Just lower your calorie intake and exercise more. Ive lost 12 pounds by going to the gym 3-4 times a week for an hour- hour and a half. Don't people understand that losing 10 lbs won't make any difference in your looks if you are overweight? You would need to lose like 20-30 lbs to see any major difference. What good is losing a bunch of water weight?

i have a way to lose weight. im testing out my formula soon at my home in fredericksburg, texas. we're working on getting a treadmill right now. 1. get a treadmill. it doesnt have to be expensive or anything. 2. walk everyday for acouple months. 3. dont eat as much. cut down on serving size. with these 3 steps you an lose weight. i wuz skinny for years using my aunts treadmill! trust me it works.

To lose weight you do not starve yourself, you will lose weight in the begining but you will gain it back quickly do to the fact your body will be grabbing everything it can from the food that you eat and store it. You eat more each day small snacks, healthy snacks. With a little exercise you will be good.

dont take these diets, they're just trying to scam you for your money. try to stop thinking oh i have to go on a diet and start thinking i have to 'change' my diet. they're two different things. all you have to do is cut out the bad processed food from your diet. here's somethin you can do. make yourselves a nice big pot of vegetable soup each sunday night, and eat that throughout the week.

@Musicposter4you Exactly! Just lower your calorie intake and exercise more. Ive lost 12 pounds by going to the gym 3-4 times a week for an hour- hour and a half. Im afraid to anyone wanting a "quick fix" there isnt one (except surgery and event hat isnt a fi. If you have gradually put on the weight believe me, you can gradually loose the weight, it will just take time and you have to be patient with your body.

@Musicposter4you Completely agree, I would never have a quick fix. Its taken me 2 months to shift 12 pounds :) maybe a little longer than this, and all healthy eating and going to the gym. Im 25, i was 9 stone 5 (a uk size 12 and hated my body, i was also very unfit)- I am now 8 stone 6 pounds (a uk size 8) through healthy eating and going to the gym 3-4 times a week. I have been the fittest ive been in my life. x
