Electro Hippies and Napalm death are my faves out of the Grindcore genre.

Death Metal, I think early Darkthrone and Cannibal Corpse.

You should've named the lyrical content that differs. Most Grindcore bands are very political (except last days of humanity and .co) where others would've said that they suck because they are political.

...but I hate genres anyway. I just use them to describe bands but every band is individual....others are riffing after stereotypes and hiding behind the genre...

@shockofhyperbole I don't like them, too. To me they are more of a "record band". Like Napalm death creates the shortest songs, they try to create the most noise possible with analog instruments. Can't listen to that then....

About time someone made a vid like this that's actually accurate. It's a shame how few on youtube know what grindcore is despite how often the term is thrown around.

Most of these kids on here haha! gives me a good crack up when im reading there posts drinking my coffee! And If we didn't have "Suffocation, DF, Cryptopsy, and at the gates of hell" Then deathcore wouldn't remotely be any where near where it is today although it could have been influenced by other bands making it a different sub genre.

And you are right about this video, people should know the difference between this genres, especially if you call yourself a fan of one of these (sub)genres.
