as a fan of a team that has addressed the defensive side of the ball numerous times in the past and they ALL have been busts, Josh freeman is a stud. His desire to win is unmeasurable. I really think he is way better already than mccown. Get him a wideout that he can throw to and the bucs will be alright. Ive met josh in person and i watched him play at ksu for 3 years...oh, and the big 12 is weak???? cmon. 2nd best conference in america. Number don't lie man..
Thanks for posting this! Same reaction. You know you liked him against the Pack though! We have huge holes to fill but now we can focus on getting some killers. He sat and watched JJ and BL play and came in and played like a pro. He was cool in there. I think Raheem liked that quality. We'll see!

Solution. We Need Our Peyton Manning Or Big Ben To Lead us We Will Do Our Thing In This Years Draft. K. Winslow Was Worth The Second Rd. Pick too.
when i saw this i was hopin to get one of the USC linebackers,because they were beast at USC and it probably would of made our defense look more badass if we had maualuga or matthews
look people. Josh Freeman broke his school records and is impressive to many NFL coaches not just Tampa Bay. Just because K state wasnt in the top 10 does'nt mean he's not a good athelete. Jerry Rice went to a very small school and look at him now. Th Bucs defense roster isnt bad at all when it comes to starters. Jermaine Phillips might be linebacker with BARETT RUUD, AND ANGELO CROWELL. Thats a great team. Tanard Jackson at safety, Ronde Barber, and Aquib Talib at CB and the line is still good
I thought they should have addressed the defensive side first. I would have been happy with Vontae davis, trading back like a couple of teams in the second round and grabbing a guy like Ron Brace. I understand theFreeman pick, I just not sure why they pulled the trigger on a guy with so many concerns...
As a K-Stater watching the Josh Freeman train wreck for 3-years. I hope that good coaching helps because at K-State the coaching was bad. He has tools and could be good but under pressure at K-State he sucked and was very inaccurate.

comparing Flacco to Freman may not be fair. Flacco was alot more polished coming out. Freeman is a project... We should have a great running game for whoever is qb but the defense is a big uncertainty... State of the union for defense is coming soon.
Josh will do okay guys dont worry so much. Remember what everybody said about Joe Flacco. They all said he was going to be terrible but he proved them wrong. We got the defense to do great this next season and a future earth,wind, and fire running game

Not doubting his potential, just shocked at the decision to draft him and at that point. He is the future and all of Tampa needs to get behind this kid and be patient. a lot of people don't like the idea of drafting him but give him a chance.remember what they said about joe flacco but he turned out okay he led the ravens to the playoffs.the ravens had a great def and a running game not to mention they really dident have any great recievers or blockers. we have a young , strong OL and antoinio bryant with micheal clayton.
Big Ben was good his first year. He went 15 and in the regular season. But I'm not too sure about Freeman. Like you said, You dont draft a quarterback in the first round to sit down.

Iowa States QB Arnaud was rated higher then Freeman and he didn't win a game. Freeman always had a losing record at KSU.
