400 sreies. Machune gunners, riflemen, assault men, boots, seniors, this were we see who can walk the walk and not just talk the talk. Semper Fi Grunts. The real Marines.
THis reminds me of one time, at Mojave Viper Sept. 2005, we the role players had to ride out with a convoy that got lost. It was a fun, and adventurous little excursion, especially the part when we saw explosions like the one in your video going off not too far from us..... when we heard on the radio that we were off course and actually driving straight into a live art-impact zone!...then it was kinda scary, strangley exciting and fun,... but scary......LOL.
i have a good question, are soldiers still allowed to smoke on the front? of course not like ww2 or vietnam, but are they still allowed to smoke, can somebody answer this i really wanna kno
I was stationed there too from 00 to 04 I was a memeber of 3/4 Lima Co 3rd plt 3rd sqd and then I jump over to 3rd LAR as a scout for charlie Co ....good video...
I was stationed in 29 Palms from 1982 to 1985. I was an intructor at MCCES CEOS ROTS.
I enjoyed it and the desert. Used to fly out of 29 Palms (the town) over to Yucca Valley in a Cessna 172, land at the air strip there and taxi right up to a great Mexican restaurant and eat some great chow.
Now I'm home here in NYC. Member of MCL, AMVETS & AL. We all support you 110%!!!
