long toss is great for a pitcher if you do it the right way. also u cant just go out and play long toss and expect to throw mid 80's. u have to train the right way and if u want to make it in baseball to college minors or mlb u have to make baseball ur life and work at it everyday.

Where the gun is pointing, it will not give an accurate reading, as the cosine effect is taking place (mathematics). The laws of cosine tells us that where the gun is positioned, it will show a lesser speed, if the gun can be in a direct opposite direction of travel of an object, then that would give you more of an accurate reading. First throw shows 74mph, but if the person holding the gun stepped to the right, in direct line, it would add 3mph to 4mph on the main figure.

@JoseandGevenny no.... stalker is the most accurate gun out there, 99% scouts use them, juggs are about 3-4 mph slower than stalker, not the other way around
@RayKinsella23 STalkers are more accurate than Jugs. Our juggs guns were fast but our stalkers were actually slower. But anyway... The gun probably wasn't setup for the angle. You have to adjust the gun for angle when you arent taking the pitch straight on which would explain why the gun was off. This kid clearly can throw 79.. especially if he topped 83.

@JoseandGevenny actually it is accurate, the gun is measuring your peak not the ball passing the radar gun. lol the stalker sport II is never wrong
