Currency devaluation is done to make the raw resources and labor cheap in the third world for the predator nations like America, England, Australia and many others. Structural adjustment polices are like currency devaluation or privatization of the country's resources or cutting social services of those country's or privatizing curtain sectors of the gov. This all benefits the West multinational corporations who are tied to the big banks. All this capital that is paid from these country's in the third world flows into Western Banks and western markets.
World Bank will loan country's like Haiti, Jamaica, El Salvador, Colombia, Ecuador, Congo, Nigeria, Iraq and many other massive loans for infrastructural projects or something that will only benefit a very wealthy percentage of people in those country's. Those country will be holding a massive debt which will hurt the masses of the people in those country's. This debt they will never be able to pay of and so the world bank will say ok make some structural adjustment polices in your country.
When will white American people who are liberal and care so much about the world and others look at the whole pitcher and see that they prosperity and opportunity that they have enjoyed in there country has been entirely at the expense of the "Third World". Really? you need to check your facts buddy. slavery sucks in any form. But if you want to point a finger at the worst kinds of slavery look no further than the Arabian slave trade or the french i.e. Haiti(been there and seen even the repercussions still lasting) And as far as the South American slave trade and bloody conquest by the spanish. Umm yeah was pretty bad. Time magazine did an article on the numbers of slaves from Africa and was soooo different from what we "learned" in school.

The state artificially restricts access to capital resources, while subsidizing big business, and protecting it from competition so as to compensate for the diseconomies of scale which would favor more decentralized and localized production. This limits employment, especially self-employment, creating an oligopsony in the labor market, shifting the bargaining power from labor to capital.

No, the members of the gang of thieves, murderers, and enslavers calling themselves "the government" are safe. We, on the other hand, are their easily slaughtered livestock.

The ability to drop a note into a suggestion box every so often about possibly getting a new master does not make one any the less a slave. There is nothing peaceful about it, you either obey, or you are tortured in a pit of rape or killed.
