  • 2:20 Biggest ipod ive ever seen

  • iPhone users can you afford that?

  • when does it come out on the market

  • all this is alien technology

  • why would you want to see behind your screen ridiculous

  • @darnoc001 there at korean.........the symbols from the last one was Korean writing =^-^=

  • IT BENDS YES........... BUT IT BLENDS?

  • wait .. 3:48 what? Jon Norris? CHUCK'S LOST BROTHER HAS BEEN FOUND!

  • Wtf they make a flexible flat screen and put it in a hard fat cover? We want flexible phones, laptops etc with projector buttons and not bulk abs shit.

Sometimes I don't understand these companies.

  • @leNOIRfae They only do this to demonstrate the ability of the flex; not to show a finished product. It's a lot more expensive to set up an automated machine to bend the screen constantly, than it is to have a fixed display which is 'idiot-proof'.

The folding screen in the video will give you an idea of how thin these screens are/will be in future devices.

  • @djwinger2003 when do you predict that we'll be use to a digital piece of disposable paper which we use to log on and steam 'The New York Times', or 'Daily Telegraph', log off when done and throw it away when damaged? Runs on a flat bios type battery and has wifi, can play MP3 via microscopic blue tooth etc... this gen is so disappointing. Bulk electronics, ugly cars, still don't have portable helicopter, still an odor in the dunny after a No.2, Justin Beiber... fml

  • OMG finally!!!! a screen that bends! it's going to be great for all those times i need to bend my phone screen and stuff.....?

  • this remembers me on my shit o.0

  • Flexibility can help with the durability of the screen in terms of impact, so yes, sometimes you'd want your screen to be that flexible.

  • no need TV screen soon, just a wallpaper of screen at wall of our house

  • WHAT DA FAQ

  • Imagine having that pc in class... your teacher would know that you're if fact NOT taking notes...

  • Transparent, good. Reflecting bloody EVERYTHING, bad.

  • ok... so... where they put the engine, cpu and stuff in it?? do it come with transparent engine?...

  • Why is the 'will it blend' comment always the highest rated? its stupid!

  • 1:49 it bends...Why? A roundhouse kick from chuck norris.. nuff said..

  • Why the fuck does people like the transparent screen thing!? i don't fucking get it

  • @fellerredseller

    more is less.

  • @fellerredseller so your front room picture window becomes a 60 inch TV !

  • The folding one is the next DS

  • I am guessing you are in Japan. Am I right? Because I know a Japanese computerized subway voice when I hear one :P

  • Now make a laptop that can play games like Deus Ex Human Revolution, that can fold up and fit in your pocket. And not overheat too much while playing said games.

  • Apparently the Galaxy S3 will have the flexible screen

  • Comment removed

  • you benefit having it broke all the time lol

  • touch screen 3d transparent screen then I'd be fuckin impressed.

  • Why would I want it to bend like that? And I'm not sure what benefit transparent screens would have?

  • SAMSUNG. FUCKING. OWNS. End of story... that will be the only stock I buy after the recession... out of control awesome..

  • This technology is just too much... I'm surprized that CES hasn't been bombed yet by some crazy radicalist amish splinter group

  • Flexible my ass.

  • Awesome technologies.

But it has to be said....Someone has lunch with bong on the 13th ;) 1:03

  • So I wont have to worry about braking my screen anymore?

  • With an Augmented Reality adapted sample video.

    - watch?v=Dy3-icZZV-4

  • but will it blend?

  • @MrMrwarriorz No but it will bend

  • @MrMrwarriorz came here to say that:D

  • transparent screen not a new there are so many company already build this technology and i hope best wish for samsung in coming year your technologies will brigthen my life near future from nowadays

  • @LiaMaKaChauHai

Not new is somewhat obvious from the fact that the video was uploaded in a different Year than the one you posted during.

    Its still cool though.

  • Samsung, you just won the hardware market.

  • I'm samsung <3<3

  • wait what?! Transparent will look awesome with windows 7 theme.

Too bad windows8 will fuck it up

  • @jasperdj

Dear Linux, They are weak now.... NOW.... CHARGE!!!

  • omg o.o

  • Why don't you idiots who think Samsung is Japanese search it on google and find the truth.

  • What is the use of concepts, the world is gonna end in under 12 months :(

  • fuck japan is awesome

  • @ainsleywainsley Korea :|

  • @LaserJet74 nah it says japan in the description and i can hear ppl speaking japanese, but dont worry korea is awesome too!

  • @ainsleywainsley puch i tought it is Korea xD

  • @ainsleywainsley

    Samsung is Korean.

In the video, I would presume that the showcase was in Japan.

  • @Expliciatee it looks like korea bc thats the language on the displays

  • what's the point of a transparent screen? so you have to put it in front of a white wall that you have no distractions from things behind -.-

  • @bertoh79 transparent windscreens for ur car of the future ,

  • how much expensive these stuff?? like one airplane's prize??

  • this is going to be damn expensive, i think its not going to be launched this year

  • @murillo120 Is gonna to be launched This year whit the name, Samsung Galaxy Skin.

  • 1:02 Buenos Aires ?

  • Apple will buy the display and put it in the market as "the most revolutionary display ever".They will ofcourse remove the sticker on the back that says "Made by Samsung".

  • this is fuking amazing...

  • Fuck AMOLED, i got TFT LCD.

  • Lady's and gentleman, Welcome to the future.

  • This folding Amoled display is incredible !!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT IT RIGHT NOOOOWWWWW XD

  • Woah! Bunch of pointless gimmicks!

Until we get fucking pause menus in real life, and remove the need for buttons, nothing will be worth drooling over.

  • In the 60's the people thought "we living the future now".

Now I'm thinking the same thing in the year 2012.

  • En la madre! Lo que nos espera.

  • @Goepie

No, apple gets their hardware from samsung and lg, koreans are the brains behind the technology, apple is the brains behind the designs

  • they said there are better than 3d?what is amoled why is this betteR?

  • Wow that's tecnology 8 D!

  • make this 5660 by 1920 and curve it a bit a i bet gamers would by that shit left and right

  • Really, a black man with elf ears...

  • apple and samsung both work fine, we don't need your crap opinion about apple, this is video about samsung. samsung is not copy apple, they have their own too. for me i choose samsung than apple cuz more cheap, and samsung tech is awesome too, i don't get why people always look at apple, you can get something cheap and high-tech from samsung. serously. flexible screen is stupid but creative, they try something new.

  • hmm going to a friends place, roll up the 55" tv into a tube, unroll when you arrive.... WICKED lol can't wait

  • and for the record im not a fan boy, I own an imac an iphone and a samsung TV, I just like tech that looks cool and works well

  • sooo many apple fan boys commenting on a samsung video, why???

  • @MrPaulDonohue Because it's youtube, majority population: Americans - Apple brainwashed people who does nothing other than to talk crap to almost everything that's not Apple

  • 2:14 and 2:35 show how FAIL glossy screens are... YUK

  • i was meaning the one with the swivel

  • @theintensegamer178

No its, flexible just there is like a plastic line in between so it may look like it is in 2

  • it isnt flexible you can see the 2 screens split

  • wat the point of a screen u can see through ?

  • @590cowellj At the time it is affordable, you will save soooo much energy etc

  • @Mutitura this is Korean...

  • @garrypig shut up and stop being a tool

  • you'd expect apple to make this

  • i dont care who made its.. apple nor samsung.. as long its great i will buy it. for sure... like always.. 'best men win" steal or been stole make no sense.

  • @qimie100 Samsung makes iPhone. =)

  • @qimie100 Galaxy skin....

  • flexible is fucking unbelieveable

  • fuck you APPLS

  • a korean guy invented and patened the touch screen

  • did they really violate another patent? 1:10 they copied the iBooks design! Samsung deliberately steals patents and ideas without even the courtesy of changing it a little. no wonder Apple's been suing the shit out of them. they've been getting away with it for years and Samsung hasn't backed off. You fail samsung! you have no innovation!

  • @garrypig And you are blind.

  • 1:50 2:30 useless

  • @balazss11 that makes sense right? he got cancer because people stole his ideas...

  • @balazss11 how would he get cancer from someone stealing his ideas? you're the uneducated one.

  • @razzamatazzy Im saying all that stress from the competition could have resulted in cancer

  • @razzamatazzy and i don't think I'm uneducated. If I was I don't think I would be the smartest in my hole school.

  • @balazss11 wrong, and you aren't the smartest in your whole school. you didn't even know what "whole" to use.

  • Innovation. <3

  • 2:36 phone = nokia morph

  • Why only Japanese make all the cool phones?

  • 1:04 lunch with bong? anyone else catch that?

  • Woow ! Samsung rules

  • Wow, those are some really reflective screens. It doesn't matter how great of a screen it is if all I can see when I look at it is my own reflection.

  • It seems that apple has just taken an arrow to the knee

  • why why was i born now why not in 2500

  • @TheThesamir2303

lol damn I feel those words, why was I born in 80's???

  • 1:25 folding screen is so cool.

  • @MoldytoasterMedia - yes, and fold it more than 500 times and it cracks / breaks, so it's not ready for prime time, check back in about 20 years. apple has worked on this problem for over 20 years, so it's clear we aren't there yet.

  • @tnoyy34rt it says Samsung not Apple. And it looks like they have it bending back and forth all day with no problem.

  • i wish i lived in japan!!!!!!!!!)))))))))):

  • @LPSkikipet Samsung; KOREA.

  • Release date: 10.12.2111

  • @numbazZify - correct answer!

  • Can it deflect arrows?

  • i hope i can run linux on this

  • @Unguidedone - linux is for the birds. run a true, certified UNIX like OSX, not a hack.

    -

    apple. com /macosx/what-is/

  • @tnoyy34rt you repulse me

  • @Unguidedone - not sure what you mean? why would you be against intelligent people?

  • @tnoyy34rt wow classic elitist apple user response...

  • the video from the transparent display looks soooo freakin awesome! @2:34

  • I'd hate to lose that phone if its going to be THAT thin XD

  • I am core consumer. I am after daily use, comfortability, practicality, price, durability, usability, power consumption (battery life or solar fed), software flexibility and accessability. Now competitors got idiot designs which consumers are so curious to make you feel like cats or kids and fashion conscious. Make sure your communication carriers do not drain your pockets out of useless apps.

  • The transparent display is absolutely the biggest fail ever. What's the point? It has no advantages at all for being transparent. It looks incredibly hard to actually see whats on the screen, because of all the shit you can see through it. It serves no puprose, just makes it hard to see what you're actually trying to look at on the screen.

    Everything else was cool.

  • @MixeTube with the transparent display will be able to finally make a scouter like the ones on dragonball

  • @MixeTube Your horrible grammar makes it hard to read your idiotic response which as you stated I don't see the point to YOUR comment. Illiterate imbecile.

  • @DeludeMyInsanity

lol, first of all kid. There are no mistakes in my grammar.

Secondly, are you seriously that much of a nerd, that you would come onto the internet, and look for " mistakes" in peoples grammar and point them out? HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH

Im honest to god sorry that your life is that boring, so you head to youtube to look for grammar mistakes in comments lmao

hahahahahah...I'm sorry I made you cry like a little girl, hahah pathetic, absolutely pathetic.

  • @MixeTube imagine what you can do when you driving ur car with this technology.

  • @Unities

Give me an example. Because I've already stated my opinion, this is completely useless.

If your thinking about putting it over the windshield...then forget it lol. That's too dangerous, too distracting.

  • @MixeTube If its see-trough its safer than looking away from the road on your usual speed indicator or navigation. you have the road and all car information in one field of view.

Many modern cars use this already (different system of course).

But of course you dont need flexible for this. Where it will be usefull ... good question, but i think a few good ideas will be coming. Like safety clothes that emit light in the dark or foldable devices that have a good formfactor.

  • @acidwarlord

Oops, I actually like the flexible one. The one I was referring to was the transparent, I feel that putting on the windshield is too much of a distraction, even more than just glancing down at your guages for a second.

  • @MixeTube - ford, gm have doing that for years... it works just fine...

  • alien tech

  • This made me forget that phones are for calling other people.

  • @TheBoss0110101001 phones arent phones anymore.

and its positive. deal with it

  • SAMSUNG... the leader of that must be a Alien or the real father from Chuck norris! naaah its definatly a Alien!

  • los qiero todos juela q chivos

  • Dragons exist in Japan. I KNEW IT!! In Japan, it's the year 3015 now. We are just trying to catch up. It's not a conspiracy!

  • @ejayarts SamSung is Korean company

  • But will it blend?

  • @meankitty1234

    lol:D i heard that before, but where..hmm.

  • @meankitty1234 Nope, Chuck Testa

  • @CyberMcRock jajaja

  • @meankitty1234 GO BLEND YOUR BRAIN STUPID PRICK

  • at last apple will do smthing new after this, not the same gadget with just different size

  • @kulitpisang1 According to my notice, the iPhone 4s is the same gadget with the same size, just better specs...

  • Here comes the flip phone again! :P

  • is this the place where apple steal all the ideas ?

  • @13AnGeL666

Sort of. Samsung produces a majority of Appel's hardware. Screens, processors, peripheral connections, etc.

  • @LtZerge - complete nonsense. samsung makes some screens and a few processors but samsung is far from a main supplier of apple components.

  • @tnoyy34rt Samsung is main supplier of processors for iphone. and LG mainly supplies display. In fact, apple pays samsung to use its mobile technology.Samsung ranks 2nd place in terms of having patents in communication technology. (the first is IBM) but just for mobile technology, Samsung is the first. Its mobile technology is worldwide standard. check out how recent lawsuit is going. I bet that apple going to be in trouble for infringement of Samsung's mobile patent.

  • @SuwinnLouis - Yes, but that is only for the iPhone, and it's Apple's designs, they are just seen as a foundry. Yes, but Apple is number 1 in recent mobile communication patents, so that's why Samsung keeps getting blocked in the markets where they are trying to steal Apple's ideas. I respect Korea & Samsung, but they have no place in the mobile or computer space, so it's up to Apple, IBM and others to lock them out.

    -

No, Apple would never infringe, they only "protect" their work.

  • @tnoyy34rt No 1 in recent mobile communication patents? Samsung has more communication patents than Apple does. It's absolute true. Apple used Samsung's 3G technologies and coming 5G technologies. I don't deny that Apple has technologies but Apple's real strength is its patetents in aesthetic design & user interface but not technologies. In current lawsuit shows what their strengths are.

  • @13AnGeL666 - actually, Apple did all this 24+ years ago, so you have it backwards. Samsung just copies Apple, they never innovate on their own don't forget.

  • @tnoyy34rt Apple wasn't the first one to manufacture full touch screen mobile phone. LG was the first one. It was LG-PRADA phone released on Jan 2007. Apple released iphone on June 2007. then Samsung joined full touch screen phone market.

  • @SuwinnLouis - Ah, but Apple perfected touch screens going back to 1993 with the Newton, eMate, so you aren't a historian I can tell.

    -

The Prada was never really sold, so Apple became the first with a true touchscreen back in Jan 2007. I was there at the Keynote with (ironically) a Nokia employee, so don't even get me started.
