can you please help me, when i start up phonemypc program for the desktop it keeps saying "could not connect!" and i allowed my remote settings to be open, and turned off windows fire wall etc... can you please make a video showing how you got it to work

You can press menu and keyboard while in interact live mode and it should work

Yeah, it's actually better on the Droid. You get pinch to zoom multi-touch. It's very fluid and smooth too. I was amazed how well this app performed. The d-pad is only needed if you need to scroll (a long webpage, or a window with lots of contents, etc). You use the touchscreen to actually maneuver around the screen/desktop.

yeah, i actually just got a Nexus One myself and it works pretty well. The only problem is not having text input on text boxes. They will have to figure out a way to make the soft keyboard come up when you need to enter text.

@gfurr1 have you tried by long pressing the menu button of the Nexus One? It enables a soft keyboard in any program.

If you are wondering what button I am talking about: just above the trackball you have the Back, Menu, Home and Search touch-buttons. Just touch the Menu for two seconds and the keyboard should pop up in any application.

no, it says it when you go to the market that it only works for windows pc's currently. You can still try it if you want but i havent tried it yet.

you would not get the full experience of actually being on the PC. I have spoken to the developers recently and they are trying to implement audio into the sync as well!! Now that would be cool!
