  • Saw a show rating the best actors ever. Had de niro n pacino 1 n 2 Agree they're both great actors they both never showed there skills crying too much in there films and didnt display their range of voices, wheras brando was a brilliant mimic and maybe on raw talent beta than them all. made few turkeys tho. My list- 1-Olivier 2- Brando 3- Monty cliff 4- De niro 5- james stewart 6- j nicholson 7- Pacino 8- hoffman 9- hopkins 10- C walken 12-d d lewis 13- k spacey 14- C eastwood n e one agree?

  • Best actor of all time..

  • Mr. Brando is a mix of Jack Nicholson, Tommy Lee Jones, Nick Nolte, Johnny Depp,Mark Wahlberg, Mark Ruffalo and Benicio Del Toro physically.

  • BEST ACTOR EVER

  • RIP Godfather.

  • James Dean 2:00

  • @darkhorse008 u think he was better looking than Brandp??

  • @mantletiger I would give the edge to Brando, He's got a more classic profile.

  • @darkhorse008 He looked best in middle age, when his unique personality had had time to express itself on his face, and he could be more versatile. The subtleties of his acting were unmatchable.

  • beautiful tribute to a true brave spirit, KUDOS!!!!! Marlon Brando R.I.P

  • good actor but not the best actor of all time. He's little overrated

  • i think marlon brando was an actor of extreme potential. he was so amazing in all his performances. truely he is the godfather of acting world

  • I think that he was the best actor but a most important thing he was an amazing human that cared so much for other people and he had the balls to follow his ideals. He was much more than an actor

  • Hey, it's diabeetus man!

  • He,s was my idol all my life.

  • Marlon Brando's Best Performances:

    1.The Godfather (1972)

    2.On the Waterfront (1954)

    3.A Streetcar Named Desire (1951)

    4.Last Tango in Paris (1972)

  • Great Great Actor

  • Marlon Brando was like the greatest actor of all time

  • @LuckyIrishGrl3 you're always welcome :-D

  • Read "Me and Marlon" a Memoir by Alice Marchak. She worked with him for much of his life. A a very interesting and insightful read. Available on amazon. I too read Songs My Mother Taught Me and became fascinated with Marlon. Then I read Me and Marlon and learned even more about who he really was as a person.

  • Wow, that's a great video of Marlon Brando. I just read his bio, and I loved the fact that he stood up for Native Americans, and for that, I deep respect him. Thank you.

  • well done tribute!!! thank you!

  • he was the best! a modern day Steve Guttenberg.

  • Chemistry?

    Yeah, chemistry.

  • he was,he is and will be the best actor in the world!!!i just can't stop lovi'n him.

  • Marlon Brando was very hard man and he harmed many people, the most his women and children. But he was a great rebel, genious actor and he helped many other people e.g. Indians, blacks, milions of rebels and me too. I admire Marlon Brando and today, exacly 5 yers after his death I remember about him and his role in cinema and Rebellion. R.I.P. Marlon.

  • shit this is gr8

  • R.I.P. Marlon, the Godfather!

  • Majka you are so stupid xD

  • bAd bOy < 3

  • Hi..i am a turkish boy...i like brando and dean.....is it James Dean in 2:00 seen on the video????

  • Thnx for posting. :-))

  • In my opinion the best film / method actor ever.

what a big influence in american film history.

  • plz somebody tell me what the name of this song?? it gets so emotional lol

anyone knows the name of this song??

  • Marlon Brando's Laundromat.

All the information is on the right hand side of the video.

  • Marlon Brando is definitely da best method actor of all. His only competition is Laurence Olivier, wich is theatrical. But to me, in my personal opinion, da best actor in da history of da silver screen is Montgomery Clift (Man). There are lots of talented actresses.

  • From me the best are (from the 50's): Marlon Brando, Marcelo Mastroianni, Jack Nicholson and Dustin Hoffman... Al Pacino and Robert de Niro maybe.

  • There all great actors, but Jack Nicholson and Dustin Hoffman are not from the 50's there were not Brando's contemporanies, they are from the sixties. They are also not the same age as brando. Marcelo debuted earlier then Brando and So did Clift. Clift was the oldest.

  • he was like no other

  • He would have won for Streetcar but it was Bogart's time.

  • he didn´t win because they gave the award to another wonderful performance. Gary Cooper in "Highnoon". Although i think marlon deserved it more

  • At minute 3.06 photo shows Marlon movie when he was a garden man in a England Politics Residence, I want to know the name of that movie, anybody knows?. ThankS!!

  • I think that movie is called THE NIGHTCOMERS

  • Brando è Brando: dopo di lui niente è come prima!

  • i absolutely love the one he directed, "one eyed jacks" marlon, to me is everything that is raw.

  • He should have won 5. I mean Streetcar, Julius Caesar, Waterfront, Godfather, Last Tango. Its all political. His performances were better than whom ever he was up against. The best part was he did't care about it. He's the man.

  • @Dogface310 How could you miss "Apocalypse now" off that list? I couldn't think of anything else for weeks after watching Marlon Brando's performance in that film.

  • @phatcontrolla Yes, that too. Duvall got an Oscar I believe and Brando wasn't nominated. Bullocks

  • He should have won 3 Oscars because Marlon gave a powerful, brutal and memorable performance in A Streetcar Named Desire

  • he was and still is the best

  • About 4 years ago to the day if I'm correct this man left the earth.

  • Usted lo era todo, maestro

  • ...questo non è un tributo a Brando, ma è la testimonianza di Dio fatto persona...good look

  • Brilliant. Thank you. How about," Lake, of, FIRE!!" Or, "Garcon, champagne. If music be the food of love play on."

  • great music

  • Incredibile, fantastico, meraviglioso.Marlon Brando è il più grande attore della storia del cinema e non solo.

  • bello

  • There's too many flowers in this room, I can't fucking breathe.

  • stunning

  • What's the song???

  • Marlon Brando's Laundromat, by PONY UP!

  • It's really cool! And the video is well put together! I love it!

  • can anyone tell me how to cut in the movie-quotes into the song?

  • What a well put together Tribute! Kudos and thank you!

  • What a great tribute! Brought a tear to my eyes...

  • the song is called MARLON BRANDO'S LAUNDROMAT by PONY UP!

  • Amazing video, very well done and pictures of Marlon amazingly chosen... May HE rest in peace!

  • When Brando first revealed himself as the only actor extraordinaire the result was that all the odious self-important actors past, present and future were made totally irrelevant. Admittedly this is a big part why I've always loved Brando. Wouldn't the world suck if pretenders to the throne such as Gable, Cooper, Stewart, Tracy, Bogart, Olivier, DeNiro, Hoffman, Nicholson, Crowe were considered the all-time best?

  • No I don't think the world would suck if that was the case. They are all excellent actors, why do you feel the need to single out the Brando as the only great through the ages. He's truly ONE of the best in my opinion but I don't feel I have to call him the best.

  • Jack Nicholson said it best about why actors never debate who is the greatest of all time like athletes or others. Because he said everyone already knows that it's Marlon end of discussion. I agree with LS that this world would immeasurably diminished if there were no Brando around to re-shape it in his own image one movie screen at a time ever since the mid to late 1940s. 200 years from now the only writers remembered will be Shakespeare and Goethe and the only actor Brando.

  • The quote about 200 years is rediculous. How about Kafka, Dostoyevski, Kundera, etc. Jack Nicholson was a good friend and neighbour of Brando's and was very hurt when Brando died so although I appreciate Nicholson's respect for his friend, I can't say that I agree. I will say thought that without Brando, modern acting would be much more primitive than it is today. He was the key to progress from the 30's/40's to modern acting. May he rest in peace

  • I dont think brando would agree. they are equally talented in their won right - some of them, anyway.

  • you are gonne now :( but you will stay in our hearts forever.

  • Awesome!

  • it was great, thanks so much

  • I like the way the audit starts and ends with that amazing Last Tango scene.

  • It's beautiful!

  • This is my favorite Marlon Trib. Vid.
