Well... Mainly, EL airplane was a B747(queen of the sky). While RJ was an embraer 170 and A 340/200. The RJ A340/200 was from the old fleet, now days, the A319,320 and A321 are considered to be the best in RJ and in the middle east, they have a wide spaces between economy seats that u wont find in any other airlines plus the AVOD system on a screen that is bigger than the one I saw in the EL (in the video). I prefer the RJ definitely :)

As an Israeli, I agree about the safety and crew. I disagree about the food. It is as bad as it gets on airlines.
RJ isn't a bad airline at all, I've flown it before, I had a great experience but the safety is bad and the crew is extremely unpleasant.
This said, I'll always pick safety over food ;)
