I'm Estonian, and I don't mind or care ahah. Who cares if people don't know about Estonia? Honestly, what does it matter? We know we're the best, isn't that all that matters? :)
I think the myth refers to pointing in general, because in Latvia it is considered rude and I have always been taught that in different ways since I was a child, so I suspect that the same goes for Estonians. And no one said that Estonians are stupid, if you actually pay attention to what they're saying, although they have gifted us southern brothers with plenty of material for jokes =P
Actually I think the world of Estonians :) They are very intelligent emotionally and worldly. Beautiful people. I know because I've been there 5 times this year and have been seeing a wonderful Estonian woman the last 3 months. Lots of questions and lots of answers. Always learning. Us brits could learn a lot about their health hygiene and economic policies. Environmental, family and moral values are extremely positive traits too.
Forgot to say I am British which makes it even stranger, in Britain people throw salt over their shoulders, say "Bless you" when someone sneezes and strangest of all always think their Government knows best no matter what shit it does, hows that for odd behaviour! :)

Then i went to get some £ from first bank i saw in the city. (appearently they have lack of bank automates there). They asked my identification (dont ask me why). So i pulled out my ID card. The bank teller was supriced and confused what to do with this. So she asked my passport instead.
