SmonyAndrew, if you can't speak (type) english properly, my guess is your not from the US so with that being said, don't say that the USA emergency apparatus is bad, we (US) have the best there is.
again... you haven't seen an American Emergency vehicle rushing down the highway or street to a 4 alarm fire... or a PI Accident w/ 2 DOA... I... again... have... so... until you see them... don't say anything...
highly... highly... highly doubt it... you haven't seen one of these things hauling ass down the highway at 80 mph just pulling off of an exit a 1,000 feet ago... rushing to a 9 car MVA... I... on the other hand... have... and neadless to say... ever since I was little they have used these big mother truckers.. and they are big... because most incidents in Nashville are bad... so they have to have more equipment on hand to save that persons life...
I worked for NFD from 1993 to 2007 and i hurt my neck and had to leave...I worked med 11 for 3 years med, 18, med 13, med 23, med 37 when i left I was stationed at 37..Im glad they are finally gettin new rigs..Spencer
Nashville gonna go red with their medic units now that they've gotten permission from the state? Memphis already has several red ones on the road and they look awesome!
I think Nashville is now willing to spend more money on there fire equipment and ambo's. Back when I moved here in 97 from Chicago, they had junk!! It's glad to see a city coming around.

IN USA have only the Police better cars. Other emergency veliches (fire, ambulance) are worser that the European emergency veliches.

why so big ambulance ? It must be slowly in traffic. We have VW Transporter upgrated with high roof and it's much better than this big truck.

The ambulance is bigger because our EMTs and Paramedics in the field are better trained. The ambulances have more equipment on it, more room.
