  • I had the same issues decades ago when I was in school. I myself have ASperger's syndrome/Autism & Cerebral Palsy.

  • What pretencious fucktard. Stop fucking with your teachers and do your work.

  • You are so beautiful <333

  • This kid has a wider vocabulary than I do by a long shot, and I'm 15. 0_o

  • I know exactly what you're talking about; I, too, have Asperger's syndrome, and I experienced no small amount of hardship and teasing during my four years of high school. Fortunately, I survived, and as an aspie about to graduate from college, I can promise you: THINGS WILL GET BETTER. The college environment allows you to think, speak, and research freely, and people start to really respect you for your individuality. In short-- hang in there! You can do it. :)

  • are you Jewish?

  • please write a book. thank you.

  • don't say you don't care! don't say you want to quit! Because we don't really have that many smart people in the world, and we can't afford quitting. See John Elder Robinson's videos.

And you know what? You need to find a "space". Everyone has one. For example if you are good at chess, go to a chess club, if you are good at basketball, sign up for a team. Because then you will find people that like the same things you do, and that appreciate you just the way you are. Because you can't quit.

  • You are a very intelligent individual and ther is nothing wrong with you. THere many differnet types of individual swith many differnet personality types, and learning styles... I beleive that your learning stlye may be differnet from some children there are things that you may not understand but beleive it or not there are things that you understand the people at the age of 25 and 26 has yet to discover... Youare ONe in a MILLION KIDDoo. LOVe you lots!

  • dude i subscribed im failing all my classes my mom dosent understand i want to get into an alternate school

  • thank you for posting this video. People need to understand the challenges that individuals with Asperger's Syndrome face at school. My daughter is 8 and has Asperger's and we are currently considering pulling her out of school because of the school's lack of understanding and ability to teach her.

  • ur fuckn awesome

  • "The teachers think I'm trying to patronise them because I'm more intelligent than them." That's funny! In general though, teachers are mature enough to laugh at themselves when precocious students correct their spellings or facts. Perhaps you've just been unlucky and had the more proud ones.

  • Hey kid great videos. I wish I had youtube when I was a kid. I to have AS even though I have learned to cope with everyday life in my way. It still gets hard for me. And dont let the school thing bring you down. I look at this way. Its not that we dont understand people its they dont understand us haha. Well keep up the good work on your videos. You ever need advice email me. And good luck with dealing with the school stress.

  • high school sucks...

  • Youre totally right you have a school who teach you like if you were some kind of retarded when you have a magnificent intelligence worth of the SA i know what is what is that torture because i have it too im now 17 i know what is passing through that hell call the high school as an SA always remember that you worth a lot dont let anyone make you doubt of it and that you are not alone with this syndrome we are many around the world to understand your pain excelent video

    "LONG LIVE THE ASPERGERS"

  • Teachers hate when a child portrays them self as being more intellectuality skilled.

(just thought I would let you know that!)

    :)

In any case, don't give in on your studies

(might i suggest using Heterogeneous and Homogeneous a tad bit less?)

  • you're a brainy kid!

  • I very much agree, unfortunately that's how education is nowadays. Extraordinary talent is mostly shunned upon nowadays and neglected as being 'odd'.

  • @codecub Stfu teen

  • For someone like you to make comments like this, obviously there's something wrong with you too. Go to a psychiatrist, I bet they would give you a diagnosis, like psychopathy.

    Loser.

  • Comment removed

  • I have Asperger's too. Although I am a little different compared to you. It is a little different in females. Apparently it is harder to diagnose.

  • ha you have a syndrome fucking faggot loser homo gay boy your mom is so stupid for having you

  • Wow what an idiot lol. You know nothing about Aspergers. Did you know that some of the most famous people have/had Aspergers? Bill Gates, Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, Jane Austen etc. I am sorry for your idiocy. That is worse than any syndrome. Well, have a nice day!

  • Did you know that it is impossible to diagnose someone with anything after they are dead? I see your point but you can't say a bunch of famous ppl like that had aspergers syndrome when they most likely didn't, I mean I have heard that they've had dyslexia and autims too, it can't all be true, be careful what you read.

  • OK then, they were, suspected of very likely having Aspergers. And dyslexia and aspergers are branches of the autistic spectrum. Therefore it is likely that someone with autism may also have dyslexia or aspergers etc. They are all connected to each other. I have dyslexia, dyspraxia and apergers. My mum is a speech therapist so I hear about this stuff all the time. I just couldn't be bothered to go in to a whole long explanation of it all, but since you mention it then I might as well.

  • I think I explained that all right. I should listen more carefully to what my mum says lol, I may have made a few minor mistakes but you generally get the idea.

  • I have dyspraxia and I knew it was related to dyslexia but not aspergers. How interesting! I'm still not sure all those people had aspergers though.

  • It is not certain, since like you said you cannot diagnose a dead person but since it is likely they have other symptoms on the autistic spectrum then I just said it because the cowmilkydude person was mocking us aspies. That should show him! ;)

  • I read his comments and he is a pathetic douchebag! He's probably just jealous since he has the IQ of a goldfish.

  • Ah stupid internet chucked me off! Anyway, I was going to say something about "goldfish are actually smart" even though it was meant as a joke I am passionate about animals see. but I don't want to let my aspergers side come out so I will just shut up. :x dammit, I just had to say it!

  • Lol, no don't be ashamed of your aspergers side, I am seriously not one to judge. I'm sure goldfish are smarter than they are given credit for, it was unfair for me to compare that guy to them. Let's say he has the IQ of a fungus. Unless you are passionate about them too? lol

  • nah, fungas is fine lol. I sometimes know when I get "out of control" but I still can't help myself lol. When I get passionate about something I have to try and learn everything there is about it then correct everyone who makes mistakes. It can be annoying since no one really cares about if a fist is smart lol.

  • I meant "no one really cares if a FISH is smart

  • I can relate. I was abused in public school and have severe PTSD as a result.

  • From high school to college I am still treated like a psychopath because of my disorder. The exact wording was, "threat to other students." I know what you mean.

The few reactions a person with this syndrome are commonly given as response are as follows: negative, rude, or always awkward. Good luck explaining it to a dean... most psychiatrists won't even recognize it as viable and treat it as generalized anxiety.

  • Aspergers is usually diagnosed in childhood, so unless you said to the Psychiatrist you think you may have it, they wouldn't think of it, because they would assume it would be noticed in childhood, although I can understand Aspergers is high functioning so it can be difficult to detect.

  • school isn't that bad british social services are what you want to stay away from and life doesn't get any easier as an adult unless your one of the lucky ones

  • you got issues ha syndrome go kill yourself fucking troll

  • Comment removed

  • School was probably the worst time in my life, and whether you have your diagnosis of Asperger's whilst participating school, or not, you'll still be teased and bullied because of the way YOU are as a person. We tend to just stick out like a sore thumb.

  • you have problems if you have a syndrome you fucking loser

  • thats exactly what happens to me in school as well, im 14 and very intellegent but i cant seem to show much of it because of every one who keeps pushing me around because of i and they keep destracting me from things. i am doing well at my work but i know that i can make better grades. the 8th grade principle pushed me once and i got upset but i couldnt do anything about it so i just went on to class. i wish people would be more understanding at these things

  • loser get a life

  • lol good one

  • seriously cowmilkydude, you get a life and stay out of other people's

  • Yep, I have experienced every form of trouble you can have at schools. I have AS, Im 15.

Its crystal clear from you that you are especially intelligent. Im sorry for you if youre having trouble with school, too. :(

  • I am glad to meet ye. thank you for subscribing, and i thank you for subscription aussi. i apologize for the equivocal difficulties ye have. one day, we will overcome the hell of youth and this sickening, anti-intellectual millieu.

  • @poetlaureatte94

    hehe your very fake

  • @Luovahullu you sound like me i have AS im 15 i don't understand myself i failed my freshman year and most people with AS are smart so i have heard with is wrong with me?

  • I understand how you feel amte. you are such a strong person to post this video to let others know what it is like to have aspergers. I have aspergers and didn't really enjoy school that much.

thankyou for being strong and letting people know how it feels.

  • thank you for your kind comment.o shall continue to post videos.

  • Posting"personal"videos is not a big deal for people with AS,because we don't feel embarrassment in social settings of any kind.

Emotions are there(very deep),but we can eventually learn to understand them. Even with learning the emotions, we will still not react to them in a normal way. As an analogy and something that happens:if I place my hand on something that burns my hand, I first look to see what is burning it, then calmly remove my hand from the source as if it was not melting the flesh.

  • You remind me a lot of myself when I was your age :) Without trying to do so, I managed to intimidate nearly ever teacher I had - and I moved around to many different schools. What helped me get through it was that I nurtured my own interests, taught myself, and basically ignored school, which moved too slow for me anyway. I hope that you have it better. But above all, nurture your own passions.

    Nena

  • I agree school can be painfully difficult for AS students. I can't say the school system is any better over here in Ireland. Teachers can also be amazingly ignorant when interacting AS pupils. There can be a lot of misunderstanding and misconstruction there.

I really do hope things get better for you. I know it doesn't make it any easier, but fortunately many of us find our niche and flourish in in university/collage. You're obviously an extremely gifted young man who will certainly go far.

  • thank you very much for the compliment. and i wish to live n london or dublin when i grow up, as well as silicon valley california.
