May I just comment that the hijab is not just for the women but it has been prescribed also for the men. In the quran it first explains the hijab for the men then it speks of the women. My friends at school, my uncle, my grandfather, my former minister, my teachers, even my own father tells me not to wear it. He has banned me wearing hijab in my hometown and I ELECT to wear it when I'm away from home. Men are oppressing me by NOT letting me wear my hijab.

It's fine if you WANT to wear the Hijab, but there are women who don't want to where it and and being murdered for not wanting to, that is the point. May I just comment that the hijab is not just for the women but it has been prescribed also for the men. In the quran it first explains the hijab for the men then it speks of the women. The hijab for the men is for men to not stare at a girl with an evil eye. The first glance on a lady is aloud but the secound is prohibited. This is the true reason for the hijab. Then after this in the quran it says the hijab for the women (meaning that the hijab for the men is more important.)

@MAHGAMAZADOOTYOON But I am living in a opposite country, Belgium, where woman are pushed to stop wearing the hijaab. Its forbidden to weare it at schools, the niqab is forbidden. So where is our own choise? Girls stopped going to school because they didnt wanted to go to school without their hijaab.

It's fine if you WANT to wear the Hijab, but there are women who don't want to where it and and being murdered for not wanting to, that is the point. Why is it that there are still women being forced to wear hijab, and the burqa and people are saying that they are free? If a women wants to wear the hijab, that is her business, additionally, showing a bunch of pictures of children wearing hijab doesn't really get your point across, because they don't really have a choice.

2. if you still like wearing it. Oh, and it has to be all black. It is easy in the west to wear this because you can take it off whenever you want and no one cares. Go to a place where you have to wear it. Yes, in a place like Saudi you are forced to wear it. Even if you are not muslim. So all of those who say otherwise are not telling the truth or just do not know.

@ikinmoore its their choice to wear the hijab we men dont force them. i dont force my freinds to wear the hijab i dont force my mother to force the hijab my father dosnt force my mother to wear the hijab and i wont force my future wife to wear the hijab. its their own choice to wear it because they proud of the fact they are muslim. its kinda like how our ( and i say our because we are all brothers and sisters) sisters the nuns wear the veil because they love god and are proud to be christian.

@elvisniskic Not all Christian nuns wear veils or (as we call it) the habit. It is possible to be modest without covering your head or face. Modesty is a state of mind and intent. If you dress to show off, it doesn't matter how much you cover. It's immodest. If you dress humbly and seek not to draw attention to yourself, it's modest.
