@Ianthejerk I don't think it's fair to dismiss all music critics as "ridiculous pansies"... I enjoy reading album reviews, and I don't always agree with what I read. (For example, the Exmilitary mixtape by Death Grips got rave reviews from almost everywhere but I'm not keen on it.) The trick is not to take everything they write as gospel. I listen to some of what they recommend and some of what they don't, and then decide for myself whether or not I like it. And I don't like Mumford and Sons.

The talented author Tristin McTaggart the third recentley disclosed his love of this band saying quite forcefully to the baying crowd of well wishers that anyone who found Mumford and Sons to be an Irritation upon their ears showed a clear lacking of understanding for the intricate web that has captured our imaginations and will to dream about yesterdays heroes sprinkled gently with a light dusting of icing sugar to which they shook their fists at him and continued to wish that they had a well.

@Ianthejerk I don't think it's fair to dismiss all music critics as "ridiculous pansies"... I enjoy reading album reviews, and I don't always agree with what I read. (For example, the Exmilitary mixtape by Death Grips got rave reviews from almost everywhere but I'm not keen on it.) The trick is not to take everything they write as gospel. I listen to some of what they recommend and some of what they don't, and then decide for myself whether or not I like it. And I don't like Mumford and Sons.

I love these guys. With all the manufactured, formulaic crap that's out there nowadays, it's a breath of fresh air to hear a newer act playing such heartfelt, honest, and crushingly emotional music.

I love this song, there are a few different versions of it by them, and one really shows the anger Marcus feels while he sings the second verse. It's a beautiful song that is inspiring in love.
It's not about "he broke up with me, now I'm sad" like they have now on the radio. This is a song about real love.
