Remember that different photo's with different lighting (and make-up) needs different settings...there's usually no "magic trick" that works every time..

I got a "make HDR from single photo" tutorial and will upload another tutorial, about digital make-up/lighting, soon

Photoshop costs about 1.846 € (<-- Germany) ( just 1000$ in the USA think...) but if you are a student you can have it for about 200€ or in the USA for 349$

All in all i is a very expensive but also the most powerfull tool for working with 2D Graphics ...

If you don`t have the money ( do not crack it ^^) you can try out GIMP ( also very good if you imagine that it is for free)
