Let me, guess, by admitting that I haven't yet watched this, that they fail...
Anneka said at the start, "I'm on the SOUTH EAST corner of the map" So straight away the male player goes straight to the SOUTH WEST, and lingers there even after Kenneth Kendal has put the helicopter on the map.
Ah, before when the A45 became the A14! I never saw this episode in the 1980s, but it was the closest to where I grew up - been to Kentwell, Ickworth, and the happiest moment of my life was on the stage of the Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds. Thank you so much for posting.
That ford at Kersey reminds me very much of the one at Eynsford in Kent (setting of early Carlton regional series '20 Miles from Piccadilly Circus', fact fans, and a staple of school field trips and the like in my childhood).
Wincey's great: "I think she's seen them.". This is a top moment in TV history.
