I knew he was British, then I watched the incredibly fun and funny Still Standing and was impressed by his accent. Then after a while, I could not imagine him talking in a British accent! I watched this and I'm shocked! I mean I know he's English but still...!

lol still standing went under cus they kept changing the actors and actresses that played the bit parts, judy and her sis had 2 different moms, the lesbians had 2 ppl playing the same kid, it was full of continuity errors, but i just watch for marks funny american accent. and it was not a copy of according to jim, jim had 3 4-5year olds and a girly wife, still standing had 2teens a 10 year old and a manly wife

vangx254....one of the reasons they stopped the show Still Standing is probably because not enough people give an Englishman a chance in American sitcoms..he's more than Bill Miller

Maybe they canceled it because it wasn't doing well, or maybe it's because it's a copy of According to Jim. Just because his American sitcom didn't keep running forever and ever doesn't mean it's because he's an Englishman on an American sitcom. I doubt most of the people who watched his show have any idea he's British, nor do the people who don't watch his show.
