I've never figured out why the hell they overpowered Kabuto so much in this game's story mode. Every battle with him was a struggle, no matter which character it was with. On top of the fact that he counters everything you try to do, he also regenerates himself infinitely. I was on the verge of throwing my controller through the TV many a time fighting Kabuto in this game lol.

I just run away and then at the last 5-8 seconds I use a jutsu.

whatever button you have set as guard if you press it right as you get hit you will do the substitution jutsu.
