I had a dog I had picked up off the streets that someone just left at a busy intersection. Apparently, they burned his fur off and dumped him for being too old. I had him for four years, grew his fur back, and cared for him before he had to be put down because he was having seizures and couldn't breathe, and had trouble controlling his bladder. Best dog I ever had... I only wish I could have found him sooner in life. I can't imagine why anyone would have wanted to hurt such a sweet little dog...

I've had to get rid of pets before but i never abandon them or took them to a shelter. I always gave them to people that i knew would take care of them.
some people really do this to their own flesh and blood hopefully this might wake some people up and realize that the pet they dump at the shelter feels the same way.
