Playing since vanilla, and in EVERY xpac... I can say 100% that this game is better now than when it launched. Those of you waxing poetic about the glory days of vanilla either didn't play that much, or are looking at it through the rose-tinted glasses of nostalgia... 2 hrs spamming trade for a dungeon group, general class clunkiness, an inefficient leveling process (yeah, every class LOVES getting a timed self-buff as their first trained ability!).

But the core of who the game served were those already termed "gamers"- the game now is open to all. And better for it.

I see a lot ppl not satisfied with what wow has become after the expansions and i can relate to them. Just w8 for the pokemons of Pandaria to come and solve the problem...LOL...(i kind of feel clever to have stopped playing but i might have started playing again in an 60 lvl server and only in an 60 lvl server that would be as in Vanilia with no patch or expansion shit in it, just as it was when i used to play wow and enjoy it)

@blackpheonix200 No, WoW was amazing in vanilla, still good in BC and climaxed in Wrath. Now WoW is dieing with the crap of an expansion Cata one even worse coming soon, MOP. Activision has told Blizzard (Since Activision bought out Blizzard during Wrath) they have to come out with an expansion every year now so the content isn't going to get better.

If i was you look into a game called tera coming out very soon. Its a new mmo and the 1st of its kind to have real action combat. you have to aim your attacks and you can dodge and block attacks as well.

@Michaelmop Uhm yeah. You should perhaps avoid claiming anything original within World of Warcraft. Lich King's story is pretty generic fantasy. I'm not going to explain how since it's obvious. Though I agree Deathwing as a character is damn boring... One of the reasons Cataclysm just wasn't the same for me as WOTLK, having started my Warcraft career with WC3: Reign of Chaos ;)
