  • I couldn´t tell you, but I have the impression it´s always one and the same bird. It is one of the many species of nightjars, appears every year to lay only one egg. I also spotted the young bird once, because I was almost stepping on it

  • Amazing bird. Since this one had white markings on it's tail was it a male?

    Do both sexes watch over the egg?
