@airlicker It is a very good cable and can be replaced easily since it can be unplugged from the headphones. I however do now recommend the headphones. They are very fragile and very overpriced for the actual quality. You can get much better sounding and much more durable headphones for a lot cheaper.
If you think these sound good, please sell them, and for the same price buy AH-D2000s. They are much, MUCH, better than beats. I cannot stress how bad beats sound quality is.

Dude beats are terrible compared to v moda crossfade lps. V moda croasfade lps are all metal so they are INSANLY durable.the ear pads are memory foam so they are super comfortable. The bass is outstanding.and the cord is amazing because its sorrounded by KAVLAR not kaviar... Lol. So its kinda like carpet sorrounding the cord so it wont get tangled. I have been into audio for some time now, and I can tell you that the Beats, are not a piece of junk. They are a piece of junk that was made for the consumers, its made to last 2-3 years, and then replaced by a newer "BETTER" Beats product, which keeps the circle going. A high quality headphone can last a 100 years if properly maintained :)

Its not about certain brands, but a whole configuration you use to play them. Source > DAC > Amplifier > Headphone is a standard configuration. They all need to be good. Good headphone brands are: AKG, Grado, Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, Beyerdynamic, for custom in ear: JH Audio, Westone, Ultimate Ears..
@mihailofsx Yeh that's what I tell people sometime because, they tend to buy very expensive speakers and a second hand old amp, and they tell me the speakers suck. But they don't think that there's no point buying amazing speakers if the rest doesn't follow.
@UnergyTech Well, you are right in a way. The rest: source, amp need to follow with adequate quality. But it doesn't mean that you cant find a very good second hand amp. It can be a better deal sometimes (not too fond of second hand stuff myself). That being said, You also need to understand the difference between digital and analog. Digital has many advantages over analog, except for one: sound quality. Analog systems (turntable+tube amp) tend to be more warm sounding.

the earcups are supposed to be loose so they fit around the different formed heads of different users. duhh. and everyone knows that the black ones give off fingerprints.

@DjTrickster23 I've tried every damn Dr Dre headphones, from the in ear to the over the ear. And they are a bunch of headphones much better than these. The Power Beats broke in one weak because the cable it thin, I've had Bose for 2 years now and works just as new. The only good over the ear is the pros. I think the sound quality of beats studio is not 10 out of 10. It all depend on what kind of music you listen. It does do very good if you listen rap, but when you try to use them to listen other kinds of music, for example, rock, symphony and J-Pop, you will only get poor results from it. And the headphone is not comfortable at all. It starts hurting my ears after wearing this for one hour. And the sound leaks quite often, too. You can buy headphones much better than this with 300 bucks.

@balla32636 your mistaken. because a unit is capable of 131 Db doesnt mean you should listen to them at that point. at the peak power you lose quality. i have both real and fake ones. the fake ones aside from sounding better being sturdier and having better wiring inside are cheaper, with lifetime warrnty. not 1 year IF you got the reciept, AND you PROPERLY registered them... Thats some shit right there.

@DjTrickster23 I've tried every damn Dr Dre headphones, from the in ear to the over the ear. And they are a bunch of headphones much better than these. The Power Beats broke in one weak because the cable it thin, I've had Bose for 2 years now and works just as new. The only good over the ear is the pros. I'm not even gonna bother talking about the solos because I don't even know how they can sell crap like that.

Look around people are upsets with these headphones only because they have Dr Dre's name on them. You can get much better headphones for a lower price like sennheiser. Look beyond branding my man.

I think the sound quality of beats studio is not 10 out of 10. It all depend on what kind of music you listen. It does do very good if you listen rap, but when you try to use them to listen other kinds of music, for example, rock, symphony and J-Pop, you will only get poor results from it. And the headphone is not comfortable at all. It starts hurting my ears after wearing this for one hour. And the sound leaks quite often, too. You can buy headphones much better than this with 300 bucks.

you know what the funny thing is? the fake ones sound better and are built better. I picked up a pair for 180$ and they bump at 131db ;the ones tested at best buy tested at 91db (24db less then stated by monster) crisp and clear why buy real when the fakes are better? corporate greed much?

@balla32636 your mistaken. because a unit is capable of 131 Db doesnt mean you should listen to them at that point. at the peak power you lose quality. i have both real and fake ones. the fake ones aside from sounding better being sturdier and having better wiring inside are cheaper, with lifetime warrnty. not 1 year IF you got the reciept, AND you PROPERLY registered them... Thats some shit right there.
