Yep, we didn't get it! Then again it was next to impossible to get it when it first came out. There was allot of confusion & very LONG lineups. People were waiting several hours...so that was the nail in the coffin for me. After that I decided not to get it at all....maybe in the future if it's proven safe.
I had swine flu and let me tell you people are blowing it out of proportion....I got it on a wednesday and was done with it by that sunday..that's 4 days...unless you have some other medical issue I wouldn't worry about getting it and I certainly would NOT get the questionable vaccine

It's all about the money.. At the slow expense of our health.. IF you want to talk about swine flu shots, I could go on for eons (if I could be granted live that long) about other expenses to our health, by unhealthy manufacturing.

I am finished with the three step gardasil. unfortunately, my mother decided i needed this vaccine and she had me do it. i was thirteen, so i wan't really interested in medicine and what not. i regret the decision sole-ly.

Exactly... a lot of people die from the normal flu and I think that the only reason the swine flu was blown out of proportion was so that Canada could exercise it's license to produce a pandemic vaccine before that license runs out in 2011.

I agree 100%. I work at an elementary school in the states and there are 5 confirmed cases, 1 in which in a co-worker I work very closely to. Friday, I came down with flu like symptoms and being in the lovely US, I have no health insurance, so I just treated it as I would THE FLU. My coworker calls and tells me to get treated...I'm sorry but I'd rather get the H1N1, and know what it's going to do rather than get injected with God knows what.
I am with you for sure! I put a bulletin on my facebook page just with a page that lists some of the things that are in the swine flu vaccine and just said whatever you choose please be aware. People got really worked up over it! Like I was the devil or something!! I have a daughter with autism so I have been schooled the hard way as to the not so pretty side of vaccinations. Just was trying to let people know like you to do some research. You make some great points in this video.

Exactly - it didn't have adequate clinical testing before being released. I think it was only in clinical trials for a couple of weeks and had only been tested on 150 to 200 people, as I said in the video.
my kids school just sent home a permission slip for Mass Vaccination at school....at school...they are going to give this shot or nasal thingy while they are at school.
I wonder what they will say or do when we refuse to let them give our kids this shot.

Well, you'll definitely get a very sore arm. As per anything else it really depends on whether you're predisposed to complications from those ingredients or not. I can't guarantee that you won't get sick and I can't guarantee that you will. You'd have to research it and talk to your doctor.
You can have serious side affects even if you don't have asthma, but having asthma would make you predisposed to complications. I'm not a doctor so I'm not going to hand out definitive individual medical advice - what I'm going to say is that if you have asthma you are predisposed to complications and have a much higher risk factor of having complications than most other people, so yes, the vaccination could be dangerous for you to receive.

Another lady that we know also had allergies to the 'normal' baby vaccinations (not sure which ones) but they are 'standard practice' in Australia. These vaccinations caused her to have some mental incapacity and to be 'slow'. She was perfectly healthy before. So, whatever you are going to put in your body, you really need to know the pros and cons of it. As an aside, I am glad I said not to the swine flu vaccination when I had the flu recently, it was just a 'normal' flu :)

I have a story about vaccinations gone bad - I am allergic to the whooping cough vaccination and it was not until my handicapped sister told my Mum that I had a needle that day that my Mum and Dad could figure out what was wrong with me! It's so true... my son's girlfriend just had the H1N1 shot too... It is sad that you can't fully trust what the health professionals tell you... the same is true of so many things that are supposed to be good for us... years ago they gave pregnant women a drug... I can't remember what it was called... but it hadn't been tested and so many babies were born with birth defects that they had to pull it from the market.
I think the vaccination is unecessary anyway cause the swine flu is not as bad as people think. It can only be deadly if you don't take care of it, which is what you have to do with any other flu or sickness. What i do is maintain my immune system strong and my body healthy with a good diet and vitamins, and wash my hands all the time, etc. Just be smart, and if you ever feel sick, get checked and start taking medicine :P

I never even get the regular flu shot - because I got it ONCE and got so freaking sick. I refuse to ever do it again! I work in a pharmacy where we usually have flu clinics every year, and I have people literally screaming at me every day because they were cancelled this year, because of the shortage of both flu vaccinations. Like it's my fault that they got cancelled!! lol what the hell!

I have never gotten flu shots for me and my children, I jsut drink lots of tea, eat right, exercise and take vitamins everyday, and the powers that be have blessed me this long so I refuse to change. Thanks! You know they say drinking hot drinks kills flu causing bacteria in your throat... I drink a lot of tea too for that reason...

Never in my life have I gotten any flu shots. I will continue not to get them, there's more risks than anything. My vote is No!

I never even get the regular flu shot - because I got it ONCE and got so freaking sick. I refuse to ever do it again! I work in a pharmacy where we usually have flu clinics every year, and I have people literally screaming at me every day because they were cancelled this year, because of the shortage of both flu vaccinations. Like it's my fault that they got cancelled!! lol what the hell!

Thanks! I agree with you - I got it once many years ago and I was so sick that winter... It's funny how people always steer their blame at the people that they see in the pharmacy rather than at the government.

and i agree seems funny that the mandate is 2011 and now they have.a reason to use it..the normal flu can be terminal also..why are they freekin about this one..they are creating hysteria..and like you said...it simply hasnt been out long enoughf to know..are we going to be putting the children at risk with vacsine
