If a co. wants the FDA's seal of approval to help boost its reputation with retailers and consumers, fine. But allow OTHER drug-testing experts (and they do exist with empirical peer-reviewed journals, believe it or not) with good reputations to do testing as well. Competition is almost ALWAYS better than monopoly, and the drug testing would be no different.

marijuana has no immediate benefit. Right now we have CESAMET and MARINOL which are analogues of Delta-9 THC and produce the medical benefits that marijuana would, without damaging your lungs.
