  • Just sad the engine isn't in the make of car it was designed for. Just a waist of a car that is getting harder to find.

  • Fart can.

  • still rather the look of an rx3

  • i swear ive seen this car driving in hillsboro.

  • sounds like 2 stroke :D

  • no affense but that 510 sounds terrible

  • @chandlerbingg1 its called a ported rotary, but with comments such as that, you simply wouldnt understand

  • All that nasty carcinogenic diesel fuel being blown into the air, yuck.

  • who won? what were the times? yes rotarys and turbo diesels to wierd engines that shudnt be powerful. i love them both!

  • the witch is coming

  • This is fantastic.

  • Rotary rule

  • That turbo diesel Dodge looked like a friggin farm truck, and took off like a bat outta hell! Gotta love rotaries and turbo diesels.

  • Yup, they are super fast with chips and locked rear ends. as long as they don;t run under 12's, I can smoke them all day.

  • @EddieAK47 True to that. I've ridden in one wicked 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Sport 24v Cummins, with a Quadzilla chip and a LocRite locker in the back. Truck had some crazy torque, I'll say that!

  • @EddieAK47 well that one definently ran under a 12 cause he SMOKED yo ass. :)

  • @Stealthkiller503 Every day. Mt. Hood! Brightwood!!

  • I think the BMW 2002 comments are funny. I had2 friends with those in the 80's. Nice cars but they invested a lot of money ( a whole lot more than I did) to run as fast(or not) as me in my '71 510. I had far less invested in my 510 with an L16 (L16 block / L18 crank based motor). Parts were far less expensive to go fast and bigger Z-parts like rear ends and transmissions were bolt up w/ minor mods.

  • Yep. And they were even beat by Alfa! Of course Horst Kweck may have had a chance if he didn't cheat with the big gas tank. 510s are the ultimate for everything you need and nothing you don't (this from a BMW M5 owner that once had three 510s)...thanks for the vid.

  • beautiful!

  • Do all rotary engines sound like that or do they have lumpy cam in them aswell??

  • @LilBailz69

No cams in a wankel engine mate, idle depends on different port job

  • Get a BMW 2002TI, they're the original. And then you don't have to hang out with 510 drivers that talk shit to all the other 60's/70's sports sedan fans.

  • @NITROUSINJECTEDFISHY

Yeah the original LOSERS in the Trans AM 2.5 in 70/71 (not the TI).

  • yo where can i find a 13b engine for sale cheap? an wat would i need to swap on ein a 1977 datsun truck?

  • 13B swapped TE37 Corollas are pimpin, too.

  • I won of course! This was my worst run too.

  • so who won?

  • Thanks dudes...I race there every summer for fun when I can. It is a cute little fast bugger.

  • what cf flares are those? are they the zg flares from the zcars? also where did you find the cf hood mounted mirrors? nice ride!

  • How often do you race that pretty little thing there? Damn thats nice

  • neat for speed.. gotta like that orange clean nickle & dime
