@knewok my guess is it is to be able to work one side more than the other. and it's also great for the core/stability. i like to include unilateral training every few weeks in my workout to help with muscle imbalances and to just switch things up (in case muscle confusion works). to see the form i prefer, look up "steve maxwell: suitcase deadlift"
whats up with the deadlifts at 1:15? got some good reasoning to why your doing that?
