Awesome song, still trying to figure out the part about the Yanks though. I guess I would be considered one since i'm from the USA but have an Irish heritage. Just so you know things suck over here as well!
The lyric "The Yanks they have all gathered in the heart of Temple Bar, with Irish blood all in their veins, they joined us for a jar."
It's a nod to the holiday as we know it today. St. Patrick's day in Ireland is a holy day of obligation, so traditionally it involved going to mass, no big parade. The parade tradition took off in America. So the Yanks gathering in Temple Bar on the day, a party hub in Dublin, reflects the spilling over of the Irish-American tradition.
Oh Chris I send you all my support from Venezuela, Southamercia. I hope you'll have many hits... Espero que sea realmente apreciado. Thank you for your music....
Thanks for sending me this video. I'm pleased to know there still are people out there making great music. I'm not irish but i have a little of celtic in my blood. This song really made my day, thanks a million and keep the outstanding work.
was back in dublin weeks ago , took the kids to the museum of stuffed animals and passed the dail , the kids said hello to the garda on the dail gate with their boston accents and he gave them back a very happy '' hello lads '' with his country accent , i then gave him a '' howarye '' with my northside best and he looked bewildered , i was told later about how hated the dail and its members were and how nobody would have any interest in being polite to anyone there , sad times for ireland
Excellent piece of work! Thank you very much for Sharing!
What a way of meeting people and get to see their talent. At first was reluctant being on youtube, but getting to do this has brought me into the houses of some very special people. You are one of them. Life; isn't it wonderful!
Keep up the good work. Hope You Are Having A Splendid Day!
Thanks for sending this...love the song, the music and of course your beautiful calming voice! I guess I have some fairly strong ties to Ireland, my great grandmother on my mothers side immigrated from Ireland to England with her husband because of the economy but refused to have her children born in England and went back something like nine times to deliver all her children in Ireland so they would have Irish birth certificates! She must have been a proud Irish woman!
Great stuff, really enjoyed this, myself & my 7 brothers all took my Dad to celebrate his 80th birthday in Dublin a few years back & it was one of the best times in my life so far, well done on a great St. Pats day tune, thumbs up from Foxy P.S. Glad the snake came to no harm, bollocks to the politicians they're all snakes anyway!!....
Thanks for sending the link. I enjoyed this so much, I shared it over on Facebook as well.
