@EricTyce the unicorn board has the same size treble from outside to outside of the wire. dont hate cause they have developed a ultra thin wire that holds its shape. other brands like puma, formula try to copy the thin wire but end up buckling the wire. in saying that i would not buy a unicorn as it is over priced and is made crap sisal.

@EricTyce That was maybe true (although debatable) until last year when the BDO started using the Winmau Blade4 which has the same diametre wires as the Unicorn Eclipse Pro. Also, BDO players when playing on the continent in tournaments like the Zuiderduin Masters use boards which have even thinner wires again than the Eclipse Pro used in the PDC.

@EricTyce like bobby george said, the bdo train them, and the PDC make them the player they are. BDO is pish, its went downhill so much since barney, ando, whitlock. It was okay then. It used to be brilliant when there was no PDC. Just the BDO. But the PDC is the way forward for all the players nowadays.

Well i agree PDC is better than now, but there are some useful players in BDO

who can beat any PDC players on their day such as Kist, Winstanley, Oshea and Scott Waitse who won the grand slam of darts in 2010.

@EricTyce A few BDO players would give the PDC a good game. But PDC's A game against any BDOs A game, PDC would abs destroy. Look at the averages and the records that the PDC ppl have done. Taylor, ando and other top 20 or even 30 players would destroy BDO players if the PDC were on their best, end off!

@Stuart180Cochrane Dude, look, forget the averages, the BDO boards have smaller trebles, secondly the grand slam of darts shows that there are players in the BDO that can live with the PDC, thirdly, The PDC needs the BDO, The BDO produces the stars of tommorrow, its for up and coming players, the PDC is for professional and elite players, they can co exist together, the BDO is more like a feeder system, but the PDC need that system.

@Stuart180Cochrane Lastly, The BDO have players that can do well in PDC, Scott Waites won the GSOD which is a PDC major and got to a GSOD final and he can deffo win more pdc majors, winstanley is another potential major winner, kist might be in years to come.

No need for all the PDC vs BDO fanboy shit, PDC has higher standard of darts, but the BDO does have some good players in it, The PDC doesnt create its own stars so it needs to get players from the BDO, it needs the BDO.

@NikonSanz I do agree with what all you say, but the PDC board and BDO's are very similar, nothing within them. The top BDO players are very good, but at there best, they couldn't cope with the PDCs best. And yes, the pdc do need the bdo. The players all good to bdo, and when they are good and confident enough, they will leave for the PDC. Blade and Eclipse boards are similar, dont blame that.

Boards when lowe, bristows and all players, were far different compared to nw!
