my friend lives in a apartment and she is BEGGING her mom for emily seens i told her about American Girl she is drving me crazy when she talks about it!!!!!! i wish her mom can just buy her emily. . . .
LMAO. I'd have been mad if I studied for months and months and all I got was a ribbon! My mother could have hot glued a ribbon like that together for me. Make with the cash prize or a even a trophy. A little trophy even!
When I first watched this I knew there was no way Emily could get any word wrong.
British alternate spelling? Can they really do that? I think I only been in one spelling competition and I was like in 2nd grade. So I don't remember...
@LoboWarriorForever Thomas Sangster is Ferb's voice from Phineas and Ferb, although he has other roles too. I have no idea if it's him in this movie though.
And they used "mnemonic" in a Full House spelling bee episode too.
the jimmy kid who was in 4th grade looked way younger than the third graders. molly and her friends look like they are in 5 or 6th. and that they are 11 and 12 not 9 and 10
@izzylark lol, i don't listen to movies that well, I get distracted easily:P and you're suppose to be 8 years old not 9 when you're in grade 3......cause i skipped a year and I was 7 when I was in grade 3......
the girl playing molly seemed a bit too nerdy for me....i always saw her as a cute, pretty girl just kinda hidden behind the glasses a little, but this molly is full-on nerd
@danicazelle13 Even though "Kindergarten" was established in the 1800's and became popular in America by the 1920's, funding was cut during the 30's and 40's (when this movie is set) Often times when there was no kindergarten available, children did not attend school until they were seven (what would equal our grade 2 today would be grade 1 in the 40's) Keeping this in mind it would make sense if Molly (age 10) would only be in grade 3 if she started school at age 7 with grade 1
