  • @TheAltair4

I was 5 years old when i saw this in St. Louis and it rocked, i saw it 2 times with my dad then my mom. I also saw Aliens, Little Shop of Horrors, House, Top Gun, Great Mouse Detective (2 times), Star Trek 4, Howard the Duck, Adventures of Mark Twain, Lady and The Tramp re-issue, Song of the South re-issue, Short Circuit, Transformers The Movie and Crocodile Dundee in theaters, did you see any of those in theaters too?

  • @Johnlindsey289 I saw this one twice in theaters. I saw all of those others in the theater too but the ones i remember going to see the best were American Tail and Little Shop of Horrors.

  • @TheAltair4

  • @Johnlindsey289 Yep i saw Making Contact in the theater as well. American Tail didn't make me cry but i did think some scenes were pretty sad. I remember all of the merchandise as well. I had a Fievel doll when i was little. I remember Big Trouble in Little China and Critters. I saw Critters 1&2 in the theater and BTILC on cable back in the 80's.

I went to see the sequel Fievel Goes West in theaters on a field trip opening day here in Albuquerque with my classmates to also see Beauty and The Beast when i was 10 before thanksgiving. Fun sequel with good animation and good laughs in the western-comedy Blazing Saddles style plus James Stewart's last role, Tanya grew up to become a hottie in the sequel even though i was more into Bridgett as a 5 year old and Tanya as a 10 year old.

  • @Johnlindsey289 I saw the sequel when it hit VHS. It was a fairly decent sequel, i thought, but i liked the first one better. I remember seeing Beauty and the Beast in the theater around thanksgiving as well. I also remember seeing Aladdin for the second time right around thanksgiving back in the early 90's. Good times!

  • i loved this movie! heck, i still do :) im passing it down to my kids.

  • That movie is AWESOME!!! I've seen it on Disney Channel like eight years ago and I now have it on DVD! It can't get any cooler than that! '02..what an awesome year...

  • "A story that will live in your heart forever." It definitely did.

  • I always cry when this movie is out...TWiCE ....never gets old...

  • I was just watching this movie on CBC not that lon ago! :P

  • This was actually a TV Commercial and it could be a trailer if you like.(I'm trying not to be negative all the time,I'm just saying that because it looks like a TV Commercial then a Trailer of "An American Tail".)

  • It's the American TAIL.

  • It's November! The month this movie came out!

  • The good old days when trailers were short and sweet and didn't give away the whole film, I miss them.

  • *sigh*... that song.... *sniff*

  • christopher plummer is in the movie, though i don't know who he played. if I do see this brilliant masterpiece, i'm not seeing the sequels.

  • Henri the pigeon I think.

  • Man. "Somewhere Out There" is just one of those songs that makes me cry no matter what.

Unfortunately, this was before my time, but I saw this movie once, fell in love with it, and own the VHS.

  • i love this movie, i still cry at the end

    a must own movie

  • Dom DeLuise was the voice-over of Tiger the red tabby cat and Fival's friend. May Dom rest in peace. He died today at age 75 on 5/5/09. He will be missed.
