When this animation first came out, I figured that it would be just one of those boring fantasy animation, rom-com style, which I would hate. However, I was wrong and I absolutely loved it. The story is nothing like what I expected, as it is quite unique and very gripping. I suggest to you all to give yourself time for this...it is on fr#eec#artoo#ns (delete all #).
i? have experienced each cartoon i saw at "cartoons free us"...its not just watching, its experiencing that you need in cartoons...!!!! for the real enjoyment!
It is not standard, it is not usual fun, it is something more...that I just can't describe.. You must see this to understand my feelings. It is just great up from this director. The main players roles are excellent played, and the everyother leading role also. It succeeded. See this animation on freecartoons.
All day long I couldn't find any good thing to do...until my friends didn't come and saved me :-)...we wanted some cartoon night...so we were searching and found out cartoonsi.co.cc-it is the best site, it has great cartoons. We had amazing night watching the best. Google it and have fun as we did!
I was 5 years old when i saw this in St. Louis and it rocked, i saw it 2 times with my dad then my mom. I also saw Aliens, Little Shop of Horrors, House, Top Gun, Great Mouse Detective (2 times), Star Trek 4, Howard the Duck, Adventures of Mark Twain, Lady and The Tramp re-issue, Song of the South re-issue, Short Circuit, Transformers The Movie and Crocodile Dundee in theaters, did you see any of those in theaters too?
@Johnlindsey289 I saw this one twice in theaters. I saw all of those others in the theater too but the ones i remember going to see the best were American Tail and Little Shop of Horrors.
You saw also Making Contact in theaters at 6 and scared you, did you cried at this movie like i did when i was 5? and do you remember some merchandise like books, coloring books, Mcdonald books, Mcdonald stockings of Fievel, and PJs? i did. Do you remember Big Trouble in Little China and Critters as well?

Do you remember Big Trouble in Little China and Critters? I saw the sequel when i was 10 as well.
@Johnlindsey289 Yep i saw Making Contact in the theater as well. American Tail didn't make me cry but i did think some scenes were pretty sad. I remember all of the merchandise as well. I had a Fievel doll when i was little. I remember Big Trouble in Little China and Critters. I saw Critters 1&2 in the theater and BTILC on cable back in the 80's.
I went to see the sequel Fievel Goes West in theaters on a field trip opening day here in Albuquerque with my classmates to also see Beauty and The Beast when i was 10 before thanksgiving. Fun sequel with good animation and good laughs in the western-comedy Blazing Saddles style plus James Stewart's last role, Tanya grew up to become a hottie in the sequel even though i was more into Bridgett as a 5 year old and Tanya as a 10 year old.
@Johnlindsey289 I saw the sequel when it hit VHS. It was a fairly decent sequel, i thought, but i liked the first one better. I remember seeing Beauty and the Beast in the theater around thanksgiving as well. I also remember seeing Aladdin for the second time right around thanksgiving back in the early 90's. Good times!
That movie is AWESOME!!! I've seen it on Disney Channel like eight years ago and I now have it on DVD! It can't get any cooler than that! '02..what an awesome year...
This was actually a TV Commercial and it could be a trailer if you like.(I'm trying not to be negative all the time,I'm just saying that because it looks like a TV Commercial then a Trailer of "An American Tail".)
Dom DeLuise was the voice-over of Tiger the red tabby cat and Fival's friend. May Dom rest in peace. He died today at age 75 on 5/5/09. He will be missed.
I saw this ages ago and just saw it appear on t.v today and it instantly unlocked a lot of memories, I remember all the characters from like 10+ years ago and it's simply great.

Unfortunately, this was before my time, but I saw this movie once, fell in love with it, and own the VHS.
