  • put an ams alpha 12 performance package on these already good car that compete with some of the best the alpha 12 package from as give this kick ass v6 1500 hp

  • i read the magazin and it says the gtr has 530 hp 490 pft of torque

  • sickest car with only 6 cylinders ever built

  • GODZILLA

  • nesarn ?

  • The Godzilla kit upsizes the horsepower output to 700. Is this true? It really takes this car's output from 480 to 700?! Anyone own such a thing for their GT-R?; only a real, live person with the thing can tell us--please let us know...thanks. ☺

  • nissan has never really made a genuinely bad product for the US market that ive seen so far. but of course im not bias, weve owned domestic, euro and asian cars all of which have lasted a VERY long time because we follow maintenance very well. it all comes down to how comfortable, and how fun (fast cornering in our case for the mtn roads) and how hard the acceleration hits. nissan is at least good in all areas as far as weve seen!!

  • @highdeserthater and i know someone with a cube, that handles good, has alright acceleration, alright gas mileage, is fun to drive, and way comfortable, and we put 4 pit-bikes in the back!!! lol so the cube is good too. and the versa is WAY fun to toss around on mountain roads according to another friend.

  • gt-r is the truth !

  • remember, the Engines are hand built so they do vary.

  • @halflife103 exactually what i was going too say some dyno at 480hp some over 500hp

  • Listen the GTR keeps up with a Z06 supercharged BUt a ZR1 walks away from a GTR. PROVEN FACT!! I am from parma idiot I live in america. I think its funny you say a GTR is a better car when the ZR1 has been proven and recorded beating the GTR by 1.3 seconds per lap, and has better slalom, 1/4 mile, full mile, and brake test. I am a italian car guy But I have seen ZR1 smashing GT2's, GT3's while your GTR gets smashed by these porsches. just because you prefer the GTR does not make it better

  • nissan only says 480 and 430 just to be honest, unlike many other car makers. (Americans) but every single gtr has different numbers coming out of factory cause the engines are hand made so there have been reports of people buying these cars and getting almost 500 hp from factory

  • @TheDezzalution il tuo gtr non sarà meglio di un ZR1 quanto si vuole che sia solo smettere di essere un fanboy e apprezzare tutti i tipi di auto del design

  • @thunderup86 english please idiot

  • the GTR is boring as shit and when i say that I mean its very efficient and there is no raw power feel to it. it is very smooth but super boring most people that seek this type vehicle love raw in your face power. power you can see feel and hear and i when I test drove it I was not getting all three like i hoped for. not to mention the interior is no where near the ZR1 when it comes to Class I feel like I was sitting behind a honda or something. for all that money I want awesome interior too.

  • @thunderup86 are u kidding? the zr1 has the same exact steering wheel as a fucking chevy cobalt. the GTR has a much nicer interior than any corvette or any GM car for that matter. also, when you launch it it feels like being shot out of a cannon. i never drove one, but ive been in one.

  • @thunderup86 Are you kidding me? The interior in all Chevys suck anymore including the Corvette.

  • @chewser117 that comes down to personal preference. I personally think jap car trick you with nice lighting and no features. they think they can slap in some race seats and call it fantastic trust me I bought my wife a 07 eclipse gt ( the new body ) against my wishes and she loves the powerful 3.8 v6 but even she was not impressed with interior compared to the pontiac g8 we test drove. she wanted a coupe not a sedan so she went with the eclipse but she's a chick so i don't give her crap.

  • @thunderup86 first off. never use the word "Class" in the same sentence as ZR1. Class and luxury is the europeans department. and secondly, talking about raw power. when you test drove the gtr did you ever use the launch control system? i'm guessing not considering you would make that kind of ridiculous statement. i've test driven a gtr too and i had more fun in it than i did in the cts-v coupe i also test drove (which is the american gtr basicly) and raw power... /watch?v=PtrUSa7DexU

  • @TheDezzalution ok ok fanboy lol My question to you is, How is a CTS-V an american version GTR? with a gtr having twin turbos and cts-v having a supercharger, and the gtr having a V6 compared to a cts-V V8 and with the CTS-V having more class and being CHEAPER!! then the GTR. But i guess you right. Exactly the same car LMAO. Buddy the launch control is a nice option for the GTR but its not that much of a difference, its no big potatoes. its all comes down to personal preference fanboy.

  • @thunderup86 fanboy thats a good one considering i have a C63 AMG and appreciate ALL cars unlike like someone...and tell me how a TWO SEATER supercharged v8 is better comparable to a gtr rather then a supercharged v8 coupe smart ass. and ya the ctsv is CHEAPER because its LESS VALUE FOR MONEY dubmass. your just arguing the the ZR1 is the best car in the whole wide world because it's made in america right fanboy? im just saying that a gtr is a better car. sorry for making you look like a moron :p

  • @TheDezzalution LOL Im from parma dumb shit. I still find it hilarious when you say the GTR is a better car when the ZR1 beats it by 1.3 seconds per lap time. Beats it in the 1/4 the full mile, the slalom, and the brake test LOL SOOO how it is a better car??? you truly make yourself sound like a fanboy talking like you do. just because you PREFER the GTR over the ZR1 does not make it better LMAO . Yanno your right the GTR is a better car, but not a better SPORTS CAR. IN ANY category .

  • @thunderup86 obviously your a fanboy if you came on this page just to talk shit about the gtr idiot

  • @thunderup86 lol you make up all these facts but can't even prove them......wow

  • @TheDezzalution ummmm youtube has video's on these facts you have to dig a little buddy look how hard your trying make your point lol total fanboy. lol did you ever think I watched this video because I liked the GTR, but I commented because Im tired of Human beings putting down american cars because they think its HIP to do so. you would not even bring up american cars in the first place if you did not feel threatened by them fanboy. LMAO

  • @thunderup86 at the nurbergring

    2012 NISSAN GT-R 7:24.22 ( semi wet condition)

    2011 Corvette ZR1 7:26.4 (Dry condition)

  • @TheDezzalution 2012 CORVETTE ZR1 7:19.63 , 2012 NISSAN GTR 7:24.22. IF YOUR GOING TO COMPARE VEHICLES DUMB SHIT TRY TO GET THE YEARS OF COMPARISON YOU JUST MAKE YOURSELF LOOK STUPID FANBOY LMAO MAJOR FAIL!!!!!!

  • @thunderup86 ya where did you get those facts? wikipedia dipshit? and clearly your 12 years old and everything you made up was lie sooooo ya. this is pointless

  • @TheDezzalution lol why are you so angry? all of this is google able just like all the info you get is from youtube LMAO. dont be angry be realistic and just enjoy the cars because they are fun you compared a 2011 to a 2012 when you should have compared the 2012 to a 2012 its not my fault you try every angle to prove your point just to come up short. GET BETTER FACTS.

  • @thunderup86 it;s pretty sad that your realistically the one crying over the fact that i pointed out the flaws in the ZR1. and your just a janitor at some school while i'm entering my second year at university in geo-mechanical sciences and and automotive engineering so what i tried to do here was educate you but all you do is lie and lie. so congratulations that your life is worthless you and nobody loves you. it's ok. just put some more caps in your comments if it make you fell better :)

  • @TheDezzalution I think its sad that you need to reassure me of your education, when your education was not in question. It was your realistic, common sense point of views that were in question LMAO. By your reassuring me about your education shows your inferiority and insecurities. when you start making it personal, you lose all control of the argument. NOBODY asked you were you did not go to school. I have my degree from penn state But i don't have to go around and brag like it matters FAIL!

  • @TheDezzalution Listen im tired of you blowing up my phone so im serious stop fucking writing me lol move on and go look at internet porn or something. relax buddy.

  • @thunderup86 lol your the one who keeps replying so i guess your kind of your own moron paradox

  • @TheDezzalution look im done talking its obvious your a youtube warrior and sound like a person who is just not realistic. again just because you PREFER the GTR does not make it better. I PREFER italian cars but I can respect american engineering unlike you euro pricks. FYI italians think europe is a joke.

  • @thunderup86 lol now look who's the big man cause he fucked up. if you knew any real facts you would also that general motor chief executive engineer mike roth said "today the ZR1 was equipped with a specific nurbergring performance package which has a full-width rear spoiler and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Zero Pressure tires that are optimized for warm, dry conditions to increase cornering and handling capability."

while nissan does all there times on stock cars. street tires.

  • @TheDezzalution your still trying soo hard LOL.

  • @TheDezzalution listen im out. your a funny kid and you have great passion. never lose it, but i do hope you grow up to be more realistic. Good luck

  • @thunderup86 /watch?v=PtrUSa7DexU

  • @thunderup86/watch?v=PtrUSa7DexU

  • GTR kicks ll domestic fag ass fuck you fags !

  • I'll Take a ZR1 please!!!

  • @s10httnswtchs1 I would rather have the GTR and 20K+ to play with and a back seat. If I was going for a straight up play toy i would choose the zr1. But the gtr will make a very good daily driver also

  • i wish my car had 40 ft/lb more then the factory claimed :S

  • everyone constantly brings up the price of this car but i dont really get it - there are other similar cars with better horsepower/torque numbers for less money

and it doesnt even touch the corvette in track speed, handling, etc

oh and... it looks like a $15,000 economy car, i guess some people think thats cool and like the sleeper thing but damn if you're going to pay that much you don't want it to look like a nissan

  • @Novantii i'm pretty sure it looks nothing like a rogue or a juke. I realize that's your opinion, but it looks nothing like a cheap economy car, looking from any angle. it's stunning, and people who don't even know what it is are always intrigued. it's not a sleeper, either- if you're a real car fan, you'd know what it is and move the fuck out of the way. the zr1 may beat it, but this car is much more reliable and luxurious. and the price? what other car can beat a ferrari and costs 80k?

  • the gtr are hand built dee dee dee the last one American import did last year had 700hp 800lbs torque from factory

  • Honestly, do any of you know how an engine works? Being hand built does not automatically mean you will get huge fluctuations in power. Each engine uses the same components, and I would think the tolerances for a car of this caliber would be extremely tight. there is no reason for a 40lb/ft difference in torque from car to car. The most I would expect is maybe 10.

  • Thank you. I was just about to say the same thing. The whole "hand built engines being individually different", thing, is ludicrous! Nissan's tolerances on these engines is in the thousandths to 10 thousandths of an inch range, with torque specs so tight, and tools so accurate, in temperature controlled assembly rooms. Assembly is consistent, from 1 to 1. People These engines aren't ham fisted together In Kazutoshi Mizunos Garage! The difference is there is a human eye on every bolt turn! Period

  • @KINZERS13GTR Holy Crap! Somebody else with common sense! AWESOME!

  • @KINZERS13GTR i believe that every engine is in fact a little different different- i've seen some tests that say it has over 500 hp. the creation of the gtr's engine isn't on an assembly line.... since it's handbuilt it's a sort of art. and no two artworks are the same, are they? no, they aren't. another reason i think that every engine is different is because i own a gtr, and in the 0-60 runs i've made, the numbers are different than some people's, and the same as others.

  • @juicyluv218 An engine doesn't need to be on an assembly line to be identical to the previous one assembled. Its not "ART". Its a job! A specific one at that. Assemble the engines, and make sure they are consistent from one to the next. 0-60 times between 2 cars, is not an "accurate" gauge as to their being equal or not. Especially with different drivers. Launch control, or not! Engine Brake dyno comparisons... period! I have extensive experience assembling engines, trust me!

  • @KINZERS13GTR alright, fine haha. You seem to know what you're talking about more so than I. I'm a car fanatic, but I don't know much about the inner workings. I don't think that they're identical, BUT you make sense- the margin for difference is extremely slim when it comes to building cars, assembly line or not. Thanks- I suppose my ego gets too huge from owning one.... gotta love it though.

  • @juicyluv218 ...Sir, You own one, and you DONT KNOW all the details about its inner workings! I know the details, but I DONT OWN ONE!!!

I would much rather be on YOUR END than on MINE! lool! Either way.... yes! Gotta love it buddy!

  • @KINZERS13GTR ma'am actuallly :) i'd hope that a guy wouldn't have my username hahaha. I know enough to have a great time in it, but it would be nice to know more... i should probably read up on it! i've always wanted to know exactly how an engine works, you know? they're so amazing! esp the gtr engine haha!

  • @juicyluv218 NOW THATS FUNNY!! To be honest I only glanced at your user name... It never registered!! lmao! But hey, ya never know! Yes, its remarkable how engines work in their various forms, the automatic transmission is even more remarkable. So much so, that the inventor literally "lost his mind", when he completed it, and realized that it actually worked! He himself couldn't even believe it. Apparently, he went raving around town screaming about it! People thought he was nuts!

  • @KINZERS13GTR hahaha :) wow that's awesome! i've never heard that before- i'm a stick person myself, but i've always been curious as to how the leap from manual to auto was made. that guy must've been a genius!

  • There are faster cars than the GTR...There are faster accelerating cars than the GTR...there are more powerful cars than the GTR...it doesn't matter...I want a GTR

  • @bocajuniors55 £70,000 for a car that does 2.9 seconds to 60...I think its worth every penny, don't you?

  • What's the name of the intro track?

  • That would certainly explain why this car can't outrun a bolt on terminator.

  • do these guys know that the engines are hand built so every engine is different -.-

  • I don't know about 'thumbs up for best car for the money'.

With rear seats, 4WD, and all that electronics thrown-in, this is the best car for me.

    I mean really.

My NSX back in the day was great, but only two seats. Probably won't be doing that again.

And after having had an Impreza (also 4WD), I've been hooked on 4WD ever since.

With the winters getting worse in the UK, I've purchased a 4.4i X5 to tide me over until I have saved enough for my own GTR-35.

    Anyone else saving for one?

  • dyno is a tool after all. you can put more power in real.

  • you put another 100HP and you dont even need the launch control

  • put a vented hood on it and it should get another 20 HP

  • Each engine is hand made, so each car has a different power output. Some people have more than quoted. My friend has made minor mods to his with exhaust intake and remap and its runing 600hp and it is seriously rapid with that gear box.

  • HÉy_Ãñy_gûys_wáñt_tø_chAt_wìth_mE

  • it is not neesaarn u moron

    NIS-SAN!

  • "NEEsaan" lol

  • i hope the nuke plant blows and takes out Japanese car companies its all about that american muscle man

  • @appleseedskates no offense but the gtr wipes all grins off the american muscle car

  • @slobodaneee Not really.... The 2011 5.0 mustang has 412 hp and 405 lb/ft at 30,000$. The gtr is 80,000$ plus. The mustang is clearly the winner. that's 50,000 I could throw at my car and do whatever I wanted to it and then some.

  • @Bl0odjester the mustang doesn't deliver it's power as well as the gt-r

  • @Bl0odjester if you test the 2011 nissan gtr it has 530 horsepower and a 0-60 time of 2.98 sec which is faster

  • @Bl0odjester if you test the 2011 nissan gtr it has 530 horsepower and a 0-60 time of 2.98 sec which is faster than the mustang and it cost less than most supercars

  • @slobodaneee I'm not saying the GTR is a bad car. I'm saying you could spend 50,000 less on the new mustang and make it a better car with a lot less cash.

  • @Bl0odjester i agree now and i admit it is a great sports car for anyone on a budget for a car like the GTR is a cheap supercar.

  • @Bl0odjester Lol yeh sure mate, your probably talking about buying a gtr and mustang in america, if you bought them in any other country the gtr is generally a very close price and has alot more power, and if your talking of modifying then your much better option would be buying an r32/r34 and modifying that rather than some overweight mustang, I've seen r34s with 850+hp selling for 100k NZD, not to mention it'd probably weigh half of the mustangs your talking about.

  • @slobodaneee 2.89

  • @Bl0odjester Skyline's still the only foreign car I'd ever drive anyhow.

  • @Bl0odjester so if someone offered you the keys to a ferrari or a lamborghini you would say no ? idiot!

  • @Joelwcs He probably would haha .

    Please don't flame me.

  • @Seadgaranovic Wel... i'm not a honda person.... hondas can die!! lol jk

  • all of the engines are hand made so they are each a bit different, i think nissan just gives an estimate.

  • @keyesphotography I no I hope nissan motor company is ok in japan =[.. also the ppl in Japan God bliss them all!!

  • bullshit

  • The thing is every single GT-R engine is hand built therefore some could be putting out more horsepower than others.

  • @DaiDaiallday6 Thats inaccurate, it shouldnt really matter. If the engine uses the SAME parts and assembles the SAME way it doesnt matter if GOD assembled it or some poor underpaid Japanese kid did, as long as its assembled correctly it will have the same result.

  • @SuperCncguy True but I bet if you test at least 10 different GT-Rs there would be some type of difference with each of em.

  • they veary

  • EVERY ENGINE IS HAND BUILT SO REALLY THERE IS NO TRUTH .

  • @427BDK Yes but they are all built to spec.

  • @427BDK there could be a little difference in hp which is shown here but not 40 in lb/ft..this is quite a difference

  • @OmGhostable this is quite possible actually, ive read up quite a lot of "conspiracies" i guess, call it whatever u will, but nissan under markets actuall power specs for home citizan based purposes, the r34 for instance, rated at 280hpp, actually had 328 due to the obligation all japanese companys made about staying around the 300hp range :)

  • rather have an AC cobra or a ford GT or a GT500 Super Snake

  • @xmodrock I am a huge GT/Mustang enthusiast- but unless the 2014 1/2 (50th aniversary) Mustang is off the scale- or Ford reproduces a GT with either an AWD drivetrain or relative numbers to the GT-R, I'm probably going to settle for a GT-R after conquering student loans. The AWD is nice and more practical in midwest winters anyhow- but it's not nearly as gorgeous or sweet sounding as the GT. Too bad they made that a limited production run.

  • @twbgx2 yea.. ill always buy mustangs and fords.. i have a 99 cobra.. but if you put good tires on the super snake (same price as GTR) you'll go pretty fast.. it makes 720HP and it comes with pretty sticky tires

  • If you haven't driven a GTR with proper race seats you don't know what you are missing. The input you get back form the suspension comes close to a GT3. A Porsche that comes with proper race seats. Granted the change does not magically make the nissan 500 lbs. lighter.

  • someday ima get that car

  • Comment removed

  • @EzekielGTi Im glad you posted that twice, it gave it that extra douche bag "feel."

  • The GT-R will never have the "feel" of a GT2 Porsche or a 430 Scuderia. those cars reward the driver for good driving and punish you if your careless. The GT-R never gives you that sensation, its very dull and muted feeling combined with the constant intrusion of the electronics.

  • @EzekielGTi still, if you must run a lap at nurburgring with those car, even with other car that less powerfull.. you'll get that feel.. every people have their own taste.. i still prefer the GT-R.. they're briliant when we gave them our own "touch".. ^^

    no offence

  • were those figures at the wheels or at the flywheel?

  • thumbs up if you would still rather have a GTR than any other car in its price bracket!!

  • @philosofiza i would rather have this than any car double this cars price. what can u buy thats better??? i cant think of anything id rather have for 100K or less.even audi when they made the R8 had to take it back and make a new one with more power and bigger engine to compete with the gtr. that alone speaks volumes. german cars are good but they are made for flashy looks first then a machine second. the japs make it as a machiine first. enough said.!!!! a car is a machine not a painting.

  • @jonthedonable I'm fairly certain you have the whole "german cars are good but they are made for flashy looks first then a machine second. the japs make it as a machiine first" statement backwards. I love both German and Japanese vehicles. I even plan on owning a GT-R in the near future. But German cars are generally better built than any Japanese car.

  • @IXScroungerXI no i honestly believe german cars are made to be flashy first, then performance second, giving exception to cars like the m3 csl and certain other performance cars but in general, the audi r8 statement says it all, i think they use heavier materials and i agree that they do build good cars but not necessarily the best performance cars. german cars are over priced and japanese performance cars are amazing performance, very reliable and much more performance for your money!

  • @philosofiza you'd rather have a gtr other then any car in its price range? id take the GTR over any car period.

  • @philosofiza I'd rather have the new M3.

  • @philosofiza I'd rather a C63 AMG. It's not a Datsun that sounds like a vacuum cleaner

  • Comment removed

  • for rhe money i'd sooner buy an r32 gtr or an e30 325is and buildd them exactly as i wan them

  • All that matters is the power and torque at the wheels and what that translates to in performance and power to weight ratios. What you have "discovered" is totally meaningless

  • I dot think they took into consideration the fact that each GTR motor is hand built and therefore a little different. so while that one would make 430lb/ft of torque a different GTR could make 470lb/ft.

  • @twindragonslegend

I don't think it would be that big a difference, but it is some

  • @twindragonslegend

Hand built yes, but I don't think that could attribute to a 40 lb/ft difference. I could understand +/- 10 lb/ft but 40 is too much. The torque numbers are clearly underrated.

  • @twindragonslegend

actually handbuilt engines are usually MORE consistent not LESS consistent in horsepower numbers, we aren't talking about pottery here we're talking about hand engine assembly. If their handbuilt (ie, hand measured to spec) engines are that inconsistent id had to know what their assembly line engines are like. SCARY!

but 19 baboons gave you the thumbs up for bailing out their favorite overrated economy car

  • @twindragonslegend A LITTLE different. Not 40lb/ft different though.

  • the fucking camera was shaking :D

  • I agee the GTR transends the "RICE" label and i think most people would agree.

'Ricer' vehicle is usually the typical beater made screemer without a decent paintjob.

cars like this that comes out the gate a winner in any country deserves respect.

THE GTR has gone beyond expectation. and considering it does all this with more weight and less horses than the competition clearly shows nissan actually has better engineers than the competition and how theyre ripping people off for namesake.

  • Motortrends findings are pretty irrelevant considering that every motor for the GTR is hand built. So the horse power numbers fluctuate depending on who built the motor. One technician could have used parts with tighter or looser clearances than the other resulting in higher or lower hp.

  • For the money is this car really worth 80k? Now that's more than a new 2011 Mercedes E550 cabriolet. Again I am speaking of quality will the car stand the test of time?

  • @Truemoderate dude, its japanese.. of course it will stand the test of time.

  • @tmacattack1 that not what Mercury Racing corporation found, all the 12 engines they load tested under full throttle durability tests when they tried to marinize a import motor, all them failed badly. Only the honda 3.5 V6 survived 32 hours at full throttle, falling far short of a GM 454 BB they tested, which ran for 126 hours at FT with a constant torque load. Their conclusuion was that japanese engine were built to light, thin, and near their durability limits for the internals.

  • @Topfueltrooper good to know, but did you really have to respond to that?

  • @Truemoderate - Compared to a german-built mercedes benz? Not a chance.

There are 500,000 miles plus mercedes-benz automobiles still on the roads today, how many nissan's can pull that off . . .

  • @NassimHarameinVedas My exact thoughts I have a Nissan 1998 Maxima with 240k miles but I would NEVER consider buying a Nissan for $89,000.00 (GTR). When I could have say a BMW M3, 335i, E550...

  • @Truemoderate just out of curiosity why would you prefer those cars? Is it purely an image thing or is there something tangible about those cars that you prefer.?

  • @gabegti misclick, that was in response to nassimharameinvedas.

  • @gabegti They drive rather nice, sturdy. You can tell how solid the engineering is. This is with most German cars I've driven.

  • @NassimHarameinVedas my dads peugeot 405 grtd has over 250,000miles on the clock but he blue the head gasket in it racing my brothers old evo 7

  • All the angry comments geeesh. I got a 73 Vette (check out my channel) and today I am picking up my brand new 2011 WRX STI 4-door sedan which has a lot of bang for the buck. What do you guys think of those two? All comments welcome even the mean ones. ;-)

  • @cherrynutz im not sure but bbc topgear says that wrx sti's have infamous understeer problems.

  • @namele55777 its bullshit...it has a little but not that much like they say

it will obviously have understeer when they accelerate during corners in an AWD car...they dont know how to throtle control...

  • guyz just check it out new GTR 2011 with 530 hp

now it suck more than it suck in 2008 and in 2009

  • they should have used the same car becasue those motors are hand built so each engine is unique

  • VVT+Twin Turbo=Win

  • Take the stand off your vizio! lol

  • A problem he doesn't mention is the engines are hand built so the two cars tested might very well have that difference in power.

  • @Dermo1985 I don't understand why people are complaining about this - that nobody is mentioning the engines are hand made. I mean so what if they are? lamborghini's cars are all hand made but they don't brag about it, so are ferraris and porsches and many other high end car manufacturers. you might have a few extra horsepower laying around but that just means that the engine is lighter (if you happen to have less hp) so the power to weight ratio is still very similar.

  • @abdulios Lamborghini's = Not hand made for shit.. Sorry bro, but you're wrong.. Also don't compare a Lamborghini to a fucking Nissan? It's like comparing $100 000 dollar champagne to like.. $50 whiskey.. I don't know if you are just making up your fact's or if you're just a mythomaniac.. I'll love to agree with you, but I can't if you're wrong.

  • @Zapust Lamborghinis are hand made and they are one of the best supercars made these days. the gallardo is hand made and costs just about the same as the gt-r. and nissan does not make shitty cars if that's what you meant by that champaign to whiskey metaphor. and i am definately not making up my facts. i don't care if you agree with me or not but all i care is i know i am right. Thanks for trying anyways.

  • @abdulios gallardo costs about the same as gtr? OMFG LOOOOOOOOOL

    U ARE SO STUPID! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • @abdulios No Nissan costs as much as a Lambo except for the Z-Tuned R34 maybe.

  • @Zapust

keep your mouth shut if u dont know . nissan is cheaper than lambo

but gtr accelaration is more than your fucking lamborghini

    gtr is the best

  • @eddy8440 You keep your mouth shut you fucking faggot ass mother fucker!

  • what truly amazed me is that the fact. the Gtr has more weight has less horse power less torque, and 90hp drive train lost. still manage to stay behind the zr1 by a small gap

  • @ybm24 well a little bit but the gtr has a advantage in the turns and more traction with the all weel drive the resion the zr1 is slower cuz the back end likes to slide out but i would rather buy the vette because it is made in america and the zr1 would probebly be funner to drive

  • imagine if that think went off track, "ding" there goes the computer :P

  • doesn't the car use air rushing into the car, to burn the fuel? but the car is still here

  • A nice slab of sashimi would go very nicely on top of this.

    J/k ;)

  • big differences in numbers can occur just from diferent dyno's and operators.

  • Cool things, you guys should run the 2011 GTR on that dyno :D

  • Nissan GT-R great price, amazing performance.

  • I'm glad there was video because the narrator about put me into a coma.

  • @Snafu246

    LMAO!

  • torque numbers are different is because each car is built by hand, so there is going to be a 5% differents on average on every car.

  • well each gtr's engine is hand made, the horse power will always be different

  • Well, he has more HP than my car, so its cool.

  • 1:08 OMG what a sexy design

  • sounds like a fucken jet engine

  • Ridiculous... There is no way to accurately obtain drivetrain loss from measured coast-down losses. The friction coefficient on acceleration with a load applied to the gears is completely different than that of the load on coast-down. In fact, it would also change over the entire rpm spread during the dyno pull because the torque (load) is constantly changing. Please remember that the people who work at Motor Trend are journalists. Not cream-of-the-crop mechanics or engineers.

  • tune it to run on E85 and the numbers should get even better.

  • @switchgrassfuel um...no it wouldn't....not without dumping a ton of E85 into the cylinders and run it at really high boost. E85 has a higher octane rating than gas but a lower energy density. Remember, octane rating is just to prevent predetonation, does nothing for performance other than allowing you to run higher compression and/or boost which means you need a lot more E85 to get the same HP.

  • @Riujinzero I no you would use more fuel but the fact that you could run a higher compression would give you better HP. check out what COBB tuning has done with the GTR. you can get better HP with alcohol. not the same HP.
