  • Amazing thing is your bike is like 3 times faster (not top speed but acceleration) than mine and its only 100 cc more than mine. I've got the old school ninja 500R. Your bike would distroy mine in a race lol.

  • gearing changd?

  • 600s sure scream, my 1000 redlines at only 12750. But she does 186

  • thats crazy, im learning on a harley street bob every like 10-15 mph is a shift and its a 1200 cc bike, i cant imagine jus shifting once lmao thats why i love the ninja tho its a supersport that can go on the Track and around town awesome bike bro. ride safe :D

  • @F00tba11er Well, I generally shift every 10-15mph too. But yeah, when you wind out all 16,500 rpm, the gears are pretty long. haha

  • so u can go 0 - 75 in 1st gear in this bike??

  • @F00tba11er Yes. Actually, it will go up to 85 mph in first gear.

  • hello, do u blip the throttle when u downshift? if so, can u pls tell me how much blips is required? Thx.

  • @kinwai27271 The whole point of the "blip" is to keep the rear tire from losing traction and skidding while you slow down. You can blip if you like, but I usually dont because this bike has an excellent slipper clutch, so the blip isnt necessary.

  • fucking tits

  • wuuuuuuuuu eeee uuuuuuuuuu eee uuuuuuuu eee uuuuuuuuee uuuu eee uuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • @cegueta1571 I just read this out loud... OVER AND OVER... haha

  • I like your video. But I wanna make just a friendly comment:

I do not like when someone downshifts all gears at "once". Meaning that you reach 50 mph on 6th, 40 mph on 5th, etc. I hope that you get my point.

  • @lazaroskyr I'm not sure I follow what you're talking about. I didn't downshift all at "once"

  • @endeavor635650

He's talking about how you stay in 6th gear @ 50mph and don't down shift until your coming to a near stop, then you shift all the way from 6th to 1st in about 2 seconds.

And it depends on the situation, typically I'll do the same thing, it saves on gas when your just cruising and keeps the engine temp down. You don't need to ride a lower gear going that fast, and when you want to start accelerating again you just downshift into the power band.

  • @unknwn55 Ah, I see. Well I'm not on the race track so I don't see the need to downshift at such a high speed/rpm. I wasn't setting up to come flying into a corner, and be hard back on the throttle coming out. But hell, any street riding you do is going to require you to ride in this manner, unless you plan on only using only 1st and 2nd gear all the time.

  • @endeavor635650 dude he just miss 5gear thats all :)

  • Do you use the front brakes or rear brakes at such high speeds?

  • @kigen818 I always use both brakes together

  • full throttle while shifting?? o.O

  • @karlarschnikov47bumm I do roll off the throttle when I shift. I'm just a touch out of sync in this video.

  • where did u mount the cam?

  • @Eliteking2306 on top of the tank with the contour windshield suction cup mount.

  • is this a contoru ROAM or what?

  • @M2OxFREESTYLE4E Contour HD 1080p

  • Thumbs up for 600cc POWER WHEELIE !!!!

  • @manhunt3k with stock sprockets too!

  • wait ....

the intersection at 2:57 it looks like the one from the commercial with the tractor ;D

  • The damn wheelie at @4:10

  • @rocknroll700 It's a wheelie machine now with -1 +2 sprockets!

  • I LOVE MY CONTOUR HD!!!

do you know of an external mic that can go on it? i might just end up modding it.

  • @ryandonian I've seen a few videos where people have wired in an external mic. If you do a little digging, I'm sure you can find the videos here on youtube to show you how to do it.

  • @ryandonian Go Pro ftw :p

  • I just bought the same camera, but I seem to have a problem uploading my first vid. How did you upload yours??? I am trying to upload the vids straight from the camera to youtube. Please advise.

  • really impressed with the sound quality, i'm looking at getting a contour for motocross and this confirmed my choice over the go pro. you hear the engine over the wind without it drowning out all ambient noise you'd hear actually riding your bike.

  • @ilikepie5720 Yeah, the mic works really good. You can adjust the volume of it to your liking. On mine, I covered the mic hole with a small piece of electrical tape to help reduce wind noise, as well as to help keep water and debris out out of the camera.

  • @endeavor635650 i figured i could always put foam over the mic if it was horribly winding, but i really like your idea. thanks for the idea. not like my motocrosser will ever break 80 anyway, so wind noise will never be too bad in comparison to this run.

  • @ilikepie5720 I just bought a kx250f and have yet to ride on the bike with the contour. However, I did do a little run on a kx100 that I had for a short time. Using the goggle mount, the contour is out in the open and the wind will whistle around it a little bit, even with the slower speeds of mx. Not really bad, but if a little piece of tape is all you need to fix it, then might as well. haha

  • @endeavor635650 all the guys i ride with run contour cameras and the have almost zero wind noise when they post stuff. Might as well use a little tape, post some stuff when you do take the camera on the dirt.

  • @ilikepie5720 will do

  • @akakopka1 Damn man, chill out! I had to. That little stretch of road has dips and is very uneven. That's why I was weaving. Last time I tried to hit it hard, the front end started skipping around and nearly caused me to go down.

  • @endeavor635650 I just got my motorcycle license and I am a novice rider at best. Would you recommend a 2009 zx6r as a good first bike?

  • @VidzNbidZ depends, how throttle happy are you? And have you ridden anything else before?

  • Ace.. Gis a go

  • i came at your 2nd 6th gear shift.... I LOVE THIS FUCKING BIKE!!!!

  • Thank you for this video!

I rly loved the camera dn the HD <3

By the way ...You like driving in sixth gear :D

  • I didn't know you could have an orgasm without having sex or masturbating... After watching this video I now know it is possible...

  • Nice vid about to buy a contour hd and this made my decision! Are you able to get full tuck with it on tho?

Btw seeing a zx6r accel makes me so happy I only rode a f4i for 1 season then a 750 and now a 04 zx10r. I would hate accelerating that slow =/ Really is just insane how much faster a liter bike is.

  • wonderfull zx6r <3

  • @superVENE94 Thank You!

  • 16.000rpm THE BEST

  • FUCK I FUCKING LOVE THE SOUND IT MAKES... WEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW WOOOO WOOOOO

  • @Rkooner LMAO

  • @Rkooner Haha

  • Nice vid.....you have to love the ninja scream, I have an older ZX6R and wouldn't change for the world, kudos to you for the smile at missing 5th we all do it but seldom admit it, happy riding mate.

  • @almst1

Kawasaki went back to 599cc in 07 to qualify for the middleweight class. And I was rolling off throttle between shifts. I was just a bit out of sync with the clutch and shifter. ;)

  • This guy knows what hes talking about. Weren't most of the zx6r's before 09 636's? I'm not a big fan of not rolling off the throttle when you were shifting at the beginning but whatevs.

  • Indicated 165? Probably more like 155 if you had a GPS or something.

  • I was torn between a zx10 and a zx6, both 2011, but after seeing how long it takes to get up to speed, i went with the zx10.....I think my old zx9r could rock the new zx6s....nice bikes though, just not enough power for me.

  • @jowek70 It's apples to oranges mate. lol

  • @endeavor635650

    lol trying to compare a 600 to a 1000

    that's 400!!!! MORE CC

i don't understand why ppl want the 1ks when are you ever gonna go 210mph

at least in California its so hard to get free open space on the highway. and even if you do there is a cop behind every sign.

  • @jowek70 i just bought the 2011 zx6r and if this isnt enough power idk what your trying to do with it blast off to the fucking moon or what?

  • @MrMatthew40oz

I like to stay in the same gear to pass/accelerate I guess.

  • @Chrismontgomery2012 Red line is 16.5k rpm. Realistic top speed for a stock 600cc bike is about 165mph.

  • @endeavor635650 a 07 zx-6 dose not top out at 165 maybe in 1985 but not now days

  • @MsBrandy1987 First of all, this isn't an 07, it's an 09. Second, I didn't say 165 was all it could do. I said ABOUT 165. That's a realistic number. Any more than that takes you drafting somebody or the wind pushing you. Read the video description.

  • @endeavor635650 first of all read the comments ASS !!! second off i dont give a fuck if it dose i rid a 07 zx-6r and trust me it dose well over 165 look to me in the viedo thats all this biks got so some things wrong thair so read all the comments b4 you wright or post eny thing els BUD !!!!

  • @MsBrandy1987 It's my video, I've read the comments. And again, you're comparing two different bikes.

  • @endeavor635650 total truth man. its good to see someone who actually knows what they are talking about.

  • nice run! I really like the camera quality and the fact that you did this on a rural road, beats all the other retards doing it on freeways and putting everyone else's life in danger

  • @stinz20 thanks

  • Your bike is all stuck right?!

  • @CunningCardinal no, not here.

  • nive way to screw the clutch :S try to gear without clutch its better, u get more speed, its easy, u dont lose power. try it ;)

  • @VoRhann46 I'd rather replace clutch plates than a transmission. Nice try though.

  • @endeavor635650 i was just saying :S but, try it xD cheers from chile

  • @VoRhann46 I've done it before, doesn't save me enough time to justify doing it. Especially on the street.

  • @endeavor635650 oh in the streets off course not, but in racetrack its good

  • Wait so you went from a 250 to this? I have a 250 right now and really want to get one of these. I really like the Monster 696 though, what would you do? I've heard that maitenance for the Ducati is a bitch though. Just curious how much in total did this bike cost you, with dealer fees, and everything else?

  • @areibu I bought the 250 for the gas crunch in 08 as a commuter. It was not my first motorcycle. My 6R was $8255 out the door. Ducati's are expensive to buy, and to maintain. With Ducati, you are buying a name, just like a Harley.

  • @areibu A monster 696 is a cheap bike and cheap to repair, it's also comfortable, good torque, and low maintenance. People should talk about what they know... Only Ducati Superbikes are ungodly expensive to maintain and buy, and even they are not that bad if you take the time to learn to do a valve adjustment.

  • @nikos95 you do know you contradicted yourself......

  • @endeavor635650 Not hardly... A Ducati Monster is not a superbike... They don't cost nearly as much. And as I said... Ducati superbikes are not that bad if you are willing to do the work on them yourself. Minus of course fairings and such if you happen to lay one down, but you can get after markets at not a bad price. I don't see exactly where the contradiction is.... A superbike being one of the above 848/1098/1198/Desmo etc.

  • @nikos95 I'll agree that the 696 is less expensive. But to have a Duc that is comparable in performance to the Jap 6's and liter bikes, the cost is significantly more across the board.

  • @endeavor635650 That I will not refute, also why I have an R6, Zx6r and 250r and no Duc.

  • @ILRappin it's typical of any sport bike: you're crouched over a bit with body weight on your wrists. however, your body will adjust to it after a few hours of ride time. the seat is kinda in the medium range for firmness, not the softest, yet not the hardest. the bar/seat height ratio is pretty good so if you position your butt a bit forward on the seat you can relieve a lot of the weight on your wrists. All in all, I'd say its pretty comfy for a sport bike.

  • nice

  • i have the same bike :) which was your top speed here?

  • @sabbathzero 166mph

  • the ninja 250 after you went to the ZX6R? was much change?

    thanks!

  • @igvar442 it's a pretty big jump in power. but no more difficult to ride

  • You need more helmet cam videos like you used to do. Miss hearing random shit you have to say

  • @whippedcream102184 I've never made a video with a helmet cam setup.
