@FactoryClosure i was not criticizing the move i was just telling a story. i did land correctly we just both hit the mat hard and were collar bone to collar bone on impact. learn to not talk about things you dont fully understand before commenting bro.
@Airbornerock That's why you realize he's slamming you, you slam him harder and hospitalize him first. I never had any problem training this with tough guys even when they try to slam me. That's what break falling is for man. It isn't just for show.
@tanhueco824 i train mma and we train hard have some fighters in the ufc but we still dont slam the shit out of people in training theres no point to doing that youre just gonna hurt each other and them you cant train at all
@l3054 well they are just making videos of it so young wrestlers,mma, karate, etc. Can learn something, i mean my partner and i for wrestling let each other be dummies so i let him slam the the hell out of me and i slam the hell out of him and it also helps you get used to being slammed so when it comes to a tournament you dont stay on the ground moan cause of the pain lol
@tanhueco824 to me it just makes more sense to work on your breakfall we do every single warm up for class you can still grapple at full intensity without hurting each other i just dont see the need my philosophy is to train smart rather than just training hard
@leavemealone2006 I train in judo but I dont even say that. This hip toss clip is actually the better way to do it in judo than the traditional way of start from far away then shoot for it.
that move broke my collar bone today.

@green17celtics You landing incorrectly broke your collar bone. Learn your break falls before doing combat sports bro.

Jap wiz right?
damnit1234pop 2 months ago
@damnit1234pop
Basically, but in a Jap wiz I was taught to lock their arm with first your over hook, then again with your other arm.
-Making it less of a toss and more just you falling to your hip with them falling over you.
codester2012 1 month ago
@damnit1234pop Almost. Jap wiz you would take your underhook hand and grab high in the tri of the other arm, turn and drop to throw.

@Styxorcist Because if you have a tough guy as a partner, he slams shite out of you,then u do it to him harder, then him, then you. calamity

Judo!

@jivapav
it is from wrestling as well. Wrestling has many of the same takedowns as Judo.
