I was born and rasied in Massena and after Highgschool moved away in 1981. I did this video for all that miss Massena and would just give anything to drive down Main street as we did in our younger years. Thanks for commenting on my video.

I live in Rochester now but still Consider Massena Home.My parents are both buried there and i still have family in the area.Really great to see videos of home,last time i was up the Massena Arena was still there but the Seaway Bowl was gone to make way for a Tractor Supply Co. store.Hope to get up there again this summer and see old friends again.

My hometown! I was born and raised there and had to leave in 88 due to my dad's job. Been living in Indiana ever since and really really really miss home! Doesn't look like too many things have changed!

Wow. Brings back real memories. I grew up in Watertown, but had family all over St. Lawrence County. I remember eating at the Ponderosa, McDonalds, and Pizza Hut at the 420/ 37 corner. It's really changed. Used to be tree-lined. My uncle, Arky Fiacco, used to live in the area, but it looks like his old house was demolished from the video.

I had heard they tore down old Massena Arena, is this true? Darn.

I haven't heard anything about the Massena Arena being demolished. My parents are still in Massena and would have told me.

I left massena in 88 and have only been back twice. I miss it sometimes. They were definately simpler and happier times. Good to see old memories. Ponderosa was my favorite family place. CB's was my hangout. Loved his Meatball subs. My wife didnt believe me that Tony's was the best calzones anywhere. when My grandmother died she got to taste them and is a believer now. She will be happy to know they are reopened for our next visit.

This a cool video! Alot has changed yet somethings remain the same (Clopmans and Slavins furniture stores, KFC, McDonalds,among some others!). I grew up there and left in 1988. I've only been back maybe 4-5 times since. Cool how you finished up the drive at Madison School where I attended after Washington School closed.

I left Massena in 1981 and also attended Madison as a kid and that is why the video ends where my life started. The last time I went back to Massena was in 2006 when I made this video. Don't get back that way very much. I'm glad you enjoyed my video. The next time I go home, and I don't know when that will be, I was thinking of making another video of a different area of town. Any sugestions? Maybe a drive down the river.

I used to live in Norwood, and i would go to Massena cause thats where the mall is and i would go to the rez and buy dip for cheaper.
