I do wish people would not confuse this one small area in rural Japan for the whole of the Japanese nation. I live in Japan and have been working to stop the slaughter since 2003, and agree it's a barbaric way of slaughtering a sentinel animal that there is NO demand for in restaurants and that less than 1% of the population have ever consumed. The fishermen in Taji are in need of education and enlightenment on the benefits of eco tourism rather than fishing. But this is NOT JAPAN this is Taiji

I just cant even begin to understand how they are doing this. The dolphins are suffering for such a long time and the fisherman do not have even the slightest bit of compassion. The dolphins suffering is so great. I hate those fisherman.

Where is the international media, all the celebrities who talked great words like "my friend is" ? When they are really needed, there are not there to help! What a shame!
