"...not only win an election but transform the country."
If we Americans are wise, we will elect Obama for President. He's the only one who (to a fault) will work with both Democrats and Republicans to make the country back on the right track
Now that's three minutes well spent. He said what needed to be said in the time he had. With Barack as our president, I'd be proud to be an American again.
For the first time Obama has come out strongly in support of the black America while still championing the wider American concerns. I think he is now emerging a leader of the free world who can unite Christians and Muslims, Jews and Gentiles, etc
Obama, this is a problem in our country that is more horrid than any other. I am convinced it is going to take time to make the changes that are necessary to build a more perfect union and establish REAL equal rights. You have to destroy racism. Living in a small southern town, I almost feel that this battle is hopeless. However, with good, strong leaders and good strong people working together, we CAN - we WILL make a difference. Good job, Sir.
Obama just made the best opening statement of all the candidates, but, afterwords, he stands there looking dignified and humble. THAT is a leader. Hopefully this forum put to rest any doubt that Obama was "black enough" for the campaign.
Obama is my homeboy! We are going all the way in 2008.

I'm not going to vote for any candidate that has to censor your comments before posting them on the free internet forum like you tube.
