i Can't set my WiFi Device in monitor mode (airmon-ng stop wlan0) it says the program "aircrack-ng" is currently not installed, i have install it but it says "Unable to locate package aircrack-ng"

it should be noted that the likelihood of the wpa2 key being in a standard wordlist is very low. The time it would take to crack a run of the mill wpa key on a standard one or two core system would be astronomical, as they are often randomly generated. The quickest way would be to create a hash table based on the same encryption technique and using the ssid of the network. The size of this table is often several gigabytes, but greatly reduces the time that aircrack will take to find the key.

@69FBGM69 you have to download the WPA-Wordlist under the video description, store that file in the root folder. Then use "aircrack-ng (wapcapture file name) -w (the name of the file u just downloaded)." I tried this. It ran few hours but still couldn't find the WPA password.

@m13sergo u should have that wordlist. checking a wordlist means you should have that txt file, whatever how its named, to check for passwords. u will be surprised to know that a wordlist although a txt file could reach the size of GB's :P ;)

@autoSX1 Well, i have experienced this problem to. :) The deauth may not always work, so that can be the problem. I can also be so simple that no computers are connected, so there are no computers to deauth, :)

@0737596980 Make shure youit running the command as ROOT. If it's still not working try this:

wlanconfig ath0 destroy

macchanger --mac 00:11:22:33:44:66 wlan0

wlanconfig ath0 create wlandev wlan0 wlanmode monitor

ifconfig ath0 up
