Its not and iPhone killer because there's nothing more easy to use than the iPhone, the iPhone is a very advanced smartphone for very, very, very basic users. Off course it lacks freedom and a lot of capabilities, but is you know Steve Jobs could a bike with square wheels for the iPhone customers.

i have one and am 85% unhappy with it and regret buying one. small software glitches pop up, bottom touch pad part of phone peels up at the corners and catch on clothing etc. saw guy with one also and asked his opinion and he doesn't like it either. can't wait til i can buy a different phone. lots of other problems but not enough time to post it all. just stay away from it.

Ok so, I have a question and maybe someone can answer it. I'm sitting here looking at the phone for the Sprint and Alltel carriers, and for both it doesn't have the diamond cut back for the phone. For Sprint it is like a pink color and for Alltel its black. Why is this?

it's just that phone company's version of the phone. built specifically for that carrier. there is a video on here somewhwere by "phonedog" and he shows the sprint version with the smooth back... a big upside of having the sprint version with the smooth back is that it does not get as dirty and full of fingerprints like the normal backside of the htc diamond.
