And regarding Ovechkin's "cherry-picking", you do understand that Bruce Boudreau and the other Capitals coaches TELL him to get into positions where he is most likely to score, right? That's what happens when you have just about the most lethal shot in the NHL. He has passing ability too, just ask Nick Backstrom and Alex Semin, they'll tell you.

Malkin is great too but with most ofthese crazy goals there is luck involved. He wasnt even looking at the net, he threw the puck back cause he knew Ward wouldnt expect it and it worked. Im not saying it was bad, it was awesome. But no way are you gonna convince me that he aimed for that EXACT spot without being able to see the goalies positioning etc. that kind of shot is meant to get a rebound, it just found a hole
