its just ashamed that they had to try to find someone who sounded like steve perry to try to make a come back. i admit he does sound alot like steve perry but notice that he dont have the stamina like steve at the end. steve could hold that note for a long time at the end of the song. so basically what journey is saying is they still cant live without steve cause he made the band. sorry but without steve there is no journey.

It's water under the bridge. But you can still keep that emotional attachment to the old Journey with Steve Perry. It's nice, I don't take that away.

I assume that this discussion forum is about the new Journey, with Arnel Pineda. Wether you find him good or not, is immaterial. Many of us ordinary folks enjoy his music. So, for the old-time-sake dudes, go to old clips posted somewhere else. Leave us to enjoy these instead, do not prevent us from getting what we like.

the exceptional Steve Perry has a very distinct voice a one in a million, or should i say one in 6 billon. but the one person on the entire plnet that can sing his songs was found by the band. props to Arnel, but Steve is still the man, it was him that made the songs the anthems that they are today. Arnel is good but Steve is still the voice that made a great band (Journey), an exceptional band
