I have read that Aselin made a CD at 11 and again at 15. I do believe there are some recent recordings as she is now 18 I think. Can anyone confirm all this? I love this duet. Blending perfectly and Aselin singing those high notes is so wonderful. She didn't just evolve into another OK teen girl singer. She is still a special voice. hey. for those who don't know, it's now 2008. azi will be 18 years old this coming june. i love her music. i can play "stupid things" and my friends jam to it. by myself, i play "once in every life", "the cape breton song", and, dedicated to my mom who just passed away on december 15th, "to say goodbye to you." i live in southern california, and, if she ever comes out my way, i will meet her. and shake her hand.

The male part in this excellent duet is, as Aselin says in the start, Bruce Guthro from Runrig. He did this because he could see the unusual potential in Aselins wonderfull voice.

I wonder what she is doing now, apparently not aiming so strong at a singing career. Going to school, maybe, and dating boys.
