I really agree with all his political positions. The dems are scared and should own up to their duty. I don't agree with Iraq, but i think we should stay in Afganistan for another short while. The Pakistani are finally supporting our efforts and the war is slowly "succeeding".

Moore, i think the problem is that you're too..."extreme" in your positions. If you want to attract more attention, you have to stop being so negative too! Be more positive about health care and YOU can make it pass.

Michael, you're terrific, and I fully support your positions on Wall Street, health care, and reforming Washington. I was totally against our unjustified aggression in Iraq (see comment below) but strongly disagree with you on Afghanistan.

A stable, Al Qaeda free Afghanistan and pacified Taliban is very desirable, and could be vital for Afghani women.

However, a stable Pakistan is absolutely essential. If we leave Afghanistan now, there is almost no hope of stabilizing Pakistan.

If we don't stabilize both Afghanistan & Pakistan together, we're going to be in some very deep sh*t if the Taliban & crazies take over the region. Then the situation will be exponentially worse -- and could even involve renegade Nukes in the hands of terrorists, or an India-Pakistan nuclear war.

President Obama probably feels the same. We have to work with Karzai which may spell failure, but we've got to try now, or resign ourselves to enormously more dangerous problems later.

What if Americans could generate some of their own electricity by peddling a stationary bike, for example? I have heard in Third World places where kids and adults can "play" and the manipulation of the pieces, pumps water.

A family can pump a day's worth of water from their own well w/o being on "the grid," and we can lose weight at the same time. Maybe charge batteries instead of pumping H20.

Last estimates were there were as little as 30 Al Qaeda members in Afghanistan and certainly no more that 300.

That means that there is a significant likelihood that the USA has more Al Qaeda members in it that Afghanistan.

The problem in Afghanistan is a corrupt government battling the Taliban and various militias caught between the two.

There is no viable win scenario in Afghanistan for the USA. If there is no way to win, it's time to pull out.

As far as Pakistan goes, give it the same funding you give to Israel and you will have no problems with border control.
