First time I saw that I was thinking 'What is this thing?'.

And, yes, there are a lot of problems with it.

Where it works the best is at a cement plant or beach front, where corrosion is at issue.

It also does well in snow as a plow.

In rock it is a poor fit.

And, there are few zerk fittings to be found, on this or other modern machines.

Sealed bearings are now the norm on a lot of machines and seem to work well.

bahaha listen to all these arm chair critics, this is slow! wah!, know your equipment before you spout off boys and girls, first, these dozers can fine grade at between 7 and 8 mph, maybe even faster with the topcon system running, whereas a conventional dozer's max speed is maybe 3mph, second, they can travel up to 30mph, to travel between jobs on large sites, they have rubber tracks so they can be driven on pavement, not carted around on a flat bed, they get jobs done in half the time period
