Seven years of what you call study does not validate what are at the end of the day your totally subjective feelings and desires -- known in some parts as a "testimony." The Mormon Church does the same "good" as any number of charities -- some affiliated with other religions, others purely secular. The mainstream world suffers with the "bad" that the Mormon Church produces -- i.e., Mormons. If you want to do charity work, go do it. If you want credit as a church for charity work, go fish.
